Beautiful spot. Close to Woodlane Reserve which is a hidden gem which lovely toilets and playground. Our campsite was far enough from other two sites. Travis was very responsive to questions we had before and during our stay.

The sites are fairly close compared to other Hipcamp sites we stay on.
We had a group of 10 young lads who partied until 4am on the next site to us (30m away).
We did not get phone signal so had to go into Mannum the next day to contact the host who was very good & tried to contact the group leader.
The next night, the music stopped at 9pm which was acceptable.
If a large group is being hosted then it would be wise to advise people that wish to book other sites that this is the case. It would have changed our minds & we would have booked somewhere else.
Even a well behaved group of 10 are quite loud whilst general talking.

A good place to relax for a night or two.
Basic facilities (as described in the blurb), although there is an area with a constructed shelter, fire-pit, bench seats and shade which would be good for larger groups. A short walk for the toilets at Woodlane Reserve, was not onerous and was expected from reading the site information.
I chose to camp on the western area, near the gum trees. It was secluded and private, despite the relative proximity to the (quiet) road.
A great place to sit and watch the afternoon slide by.
Could not fault the transactional side of things, the host (Travis) was quick to respond to my booking and directions were easy to follow.

I loved camping at the Redgum retreat! We had lovely weather and had access to a "shack" which we were able to store our eskies and "dining" area. Theluscious green views were wonderful, and directions were clear. We loved our walks along the Murray river. Definitely recommend and will come again!

Nice stop . Only us in a private camper site. Close to trees if you have dogs. Fire pit was nice kept us warm . Dogs loved us nice big area for them to run free.
Nice to see n hear the nature and the friendly horses next to us. Beautiful spot. Walking distance to the river front Beautiful if u want walk am or pm very clean tidy.

Beautiful grassy camp near the river. Great camp fire, bird life was fantastic, lovely walk to the reserve. We camped at the large camp area with the shelter shed which was a great area. Travis came by to welcome us and have a chat. Great 3 night camp!

The area is fairly quiet, has nice lush, flat grassy area, and seems well suited if you had horses..... if you don't, bare in mind you're surrounded by electric fences. The owener looks to be planting lots more trees too.
Despite the listing showing it as having a toilet when using the search filters, this is only to the referenced public toilet at the public park a 5 min walk up the road, and it does close at night as stated. Also, while being very close to the river, it's inaccessable due to reeds, so again, you'll have to walk to the park. The park is nice though, and one of the owner's waterfront photos is of this park, not the hipcamp site.
Entrance is a little tight with larger/longer vans that swing their butt out as they go around tight corners, but nothing a small amount of care can't navigate past.
Lastly, found a fair bit of rubbish around, and not sure if it was previous camper, stuff that had blown in in, or was already there from the property.

Travis and his son gave us a warm welcome and the property was stunning. The site was lush, directly next to a beautiful wetland and a short walk from the Murray. The bathrooms were also within a short walking distance. My partner and I had a swim, did some bird watching and had the most gorgeous stay. Will absolutely be coming back here. Thank you Travis 😇

We loved camping at the redgum retreat, the main camp-site is perfect for a large group or even a couple as we did. It had a massive fire pit and large sheltered area (which came in handy as it rained)
Dogs were welcome and had a massive area to run around
Would HIGHLY recommend this camp-site to anyone looking. Travis was also very easy to communicate with and responded quickly to confirm booking

We enjoyed camping at Redgum retreat. We had the camp to ourselves, it was so peaceful. There was plenty of shade and we were lucky enough to have good weather. Travis responded very quickly to our messages. Very beautiful property.

Fantastic spot, so tranquil and beautiful. Only thing to note is the toilets are not actually on the property and they are closed at 9pm so bring your own toilet supplies (and a way to remove everything when you leave).
I had a blast and I would love to come back. Thank you Travis :)

No River views (but they're not far) and that also means the jet ski and boat noise is quietened.

We loved our night at Redgum Retreat. Great location next to the river, lots of soft green grass, shady trees and a short walk to a playground that our kids loved. Highly recommend!

Travis was friendly and helpful. The property is also really nice, loads of space.
My only critique is that the toilets actually are locked at night (unsure what time). So you can’t use them basically after dark.
Also, the photos make it look like the site is waterfront. It is not. Still beautiful but you won’t be sitting there with a water view.
