Pindari Park is a beautiful 130 acre CLIFF TOP property that offers both North and South views of the River Murray. Situated on the western bank (cliff side) overlooking the most Northerly point of the river and the township of Cadell SA. Our property does have a rocky underlay, due to the cliff, recommended that drill tent pegs are used. ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Pindari means “From the high ground” from the aboriginal origin and was originally apart of the Nor’ West Bend Station (est. 1850) that stretched from Overland Corner to Burra. The Nor’ West Bend Station next door is now a heritage listed private residence. With Pindari Park’s scattered native trees, saltbush and mallee shrubs bringing an abundance of wildlife to the property, sit back, relax and enjoy the serenity. While you sit at the camps sites, enjoy watching the Cadell Ferry, appreciate birds and wildlife, or just enjoy the river boats on their journey up or down our mighty River Murray. You just might be able to catch one of the cruise boats or paddle steamers cruise past, make sure you give them a wave as they pass by. Pindari Park has many gravel roads and tracks to follow for taking a hike/walk, however, please note that this property is on a cliff, therefore it may not be suitable for young children and caution must be taken at all times. Each campsite has a fire pit area that can be used during May to October each year (fire ban period is November to April each year). ALL CAMPERS ARE TO BRING THEIR OWN FIREWOOD, NO COLLECTION OF FIREWOOD ALLOWED ON THE PROPERTY. Beautiful view from our site, lovely to wake up to see the river out our window. Good amount of space between sites. Privacy without feeling isolated. Nice to know our camp was secure while we explored the surrounding area. Nice hosts.

Magnificent site overlooking the mighty Murray high on the clifftop. Had a lovely chat with Sue our host who had lots to share with us about the farm and her experiences. The sites are large and very well spaced so you don't have anyone close. Would highly recommend this place to anyone who doesn't have small kids as the cliff is a sheer drop.

Beautiful views on the cliff top overlooking the Murray right on the Big Bend. Fire pit provided so a couple of beautiful evenings sitting around the camp fire. Cadell a short ferry ride where we enjoyed a great visit to Spook Wines and then lunch at the Cadell Club

Perched on top of a cliff with the most stunning views over the river and beyond, this camp site was exactly what we needed to sit back and relax. It has its own access road, it’s a good distance away from other sites and it has a few bushes in between you and the others, which increases your sense of privacy. Walking distance to Cadell and just a short drive to Morgan. And lastly, the hosts are lovely people who were very kind to us. Highly recommended.

What a lovely spot for a stop! Sue and her family were very welcoming and easy going. We enjoyed the camping on our way through and it was easily accessible, secluded and a great backdrop for a fire. Our kids and us enjoyed learning all about how the goat farm operates and getting to meet some baby goats. Highly recommend this hipcamp!

We absolutely loved camping at Kings Camp and have nothing but positive feedback. Sue and Scott were very welcoming and even offered to show us their goats, chooks, peacocks and ducks and our kids said this was a highlight for them as they got to pet the goats! The view from the site was magnificent and there is some protection from trees behind. We definitely recommend this stay for others! Thank you ☺️
