Great grassy spot down the back for tents, enjoyed listening to the wildlife and watching the Paddymelons grazing. A nice little forest walk through the Tolga scrub right from camp.

This camping has character and is adorable! The bathrooms are good, the space is nice and open, but at the same time doesn't feel too busy, and the wallabies coming out from the forest in the evening and at night were definitely a star of the show for us :)

Good location to explore the Atherton Tablelands. Very cool seeing all the little wallabies roaming around the campsite. Cam the camp dog is very cute!! The bathrooms & showers were just a little muddy on the days we stayed, little bit run down.

We had a wonderful time at Tolga caravan site. It’s perfectly located with everything you need close by. Lots of beautiful wildlife on the site! And the bathrooms are very clean and well maintained. Staff at reception are very friendly and welcoming :) Thank you for having us

This was a nice place! The proprietor was helpful and friendly, the sites and facilities were clean and there’s a great short trail nearby through nice old Bami rainforest. It’s very close to some great places for nature lovers, with half an hour you can get to numerous state and national parks and conservation areas. Thanks, John, for a lovely stay!

We loved our 3 night stay here. Peaceful and quiet, next to no road noise, and everyone staying was respectful and quiet. Gardens are gorgeous with newly planted trees that will give more privacy between sites when gown. Hosts were super friendly and helpful. Sites are level and there’s a variety of site sizes. The Rail-trail behind the park was great for walking our dog and the Tolga Scrub fringing the park gave it a private rainforest feel. We saw pademelon wallabies every night and possum scuttling about one night too.

Tolga caravan park was a lovely two night stay. Our unpowered site was very spacious and we managed to find a nice shady spot, the caretaker checked us in and was very accommodating! 10/10 would recommend to friends & family.

Admittedly it was raining, the site was grassed with water laying around us, no cement pad
Roads around the site are dirt so very muddy, the walk to the ammenities was not the best
Park is old and needs a refurbish, but we have had worse

Tolga Caravan Park- Powered
Pleasant location with trees between the sites, but unfortunately the female toilets broke the day before we left (probably someone put the wrong thing down the toilet, and that can happen anywhere) and I had to use the mens which had a urinal. When we walked over to the bicycle track which was near our site, there was a pile of empty beer bottles under one of the trees at the back boundary. Not a good look. The host Trish is lovely. A pleasant caravan park, but a bit run down around the edges. The pool table and the area it’s in looked a bit rundown. No dump point.

Overall we were disappointed with our stay. We were right at the back of the camp grounds which was great, except we had people constantly walking right through our campsite and this was very unnerving. At 3am we woke to find two people were sitting amongst our belongings, had restarted our fire and were smoking. When I asked them to move they stared at us and didn’t want to leave. We had a terrible sleep after this as we had all our belongings outside and were sleeping in swags with our small children.
Would not recommend staying here, it didn’t feel safe at all.
