Our oasis is a mostly hilly property covered in spotted gum and iron bark forest (koala country!) backing onto the Little Liverpool Range, with about 1 acre of grassy, flat camping area at the entrance at the south-western end. The camping area is fenced and well behaved pets are welcome. Our neighbours horses and cattle often wander up the fence line to say g'day. Guests are required to be fully self sufficient with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste and rubbish with them on departure. There are many walking tracks through the forest and a dam and small creek (often dry) that guests are welcome to have a swim in. Campfires are permitted so long as there are no restrictions in place. Please keep campfires supervised at all times and BYO firewood. We’re about 10 minutes from most services (supermarket, hospital etc.) in Laidley and 5 minutes from the world famous Mulgowie Hotel (say hi to Sara for us).
