We had a great stay camped beside a shearing shed and watching an awesome sunset from our artesian springwater tubs. Finished the night with a campfire provided. A hot shower, toilet and power provided. A lovely night in the bush.

We absolutely loved our stay. The kids spent the whole time in the hot tub or they were collecting and chasing around the crickets. We did the self drive farm tour which was fantastic and highly recommend. Thanks David for sharing your property!!

Another perfect trip to Dunblane. David is so attentive with text regarding arrival & weather. The experience is a working station, the baths are a treat. We appreciate that it is just that a working station with a tourist touch.

Westbourne Shearing Shed
We recently camped 2 nights on David's place near the shearing shed. Pretty rustic but it had everything we needed including firewood. David is a nice bloke and gave us a demo of the crutching machine which was pretty cool. We were close to the highway but weren't bothered by the traffic and there was just the two of us. The tubs were awesome and we really enjoyed our sunset drinks in them and early morning hot baths. We drove around the Lake Dunn Sculpture Trail which was wonderful. Milynda Rogers is very talented and we loved her Insta tag "#scrapmetalsheila". We really enjoyed our brief little stopover in the region on our road-trip home to the Territory.

What a wonderful stay! Communication, directions & location all 10/10. The bath tub is a game changer making it a stay to remember. Phone reception was great, space was clean and tidy and felt safe not being far from the highway. Stargazing & sunset was top tier.

We had a great stay at the woolshed. It was easy to find with the directions given. Enjoyed the artesian water bath tubs under the tree. And got to see some sheep getting rounded up and relocated while we were out exploring the paddock. David was a very friendly and helpful host.

This is our second time at Dunblane at a different camp and we loved it. Great bath to fill with artesian hot water and soak while watching the sun set. Nice spacious and level camp area that was so peaceful. And the host is so welcoming. Thanks for another great stay. 💕

Amazing farm, lots of birdlife, kangaroos on way in to our paddock and sheep. It was a welcome break to caravan parks. We made a fore and told camp side stories while star gazing. Directions to our site were great. Highly recommend.

Perfect spot of you love serenity and simplicity with just a touch of luxury! Uninterrupted sunsets from a warm bath tub are just amazing. We didn’t see wildlife coming too close, but that also means we had only a few flies, and not a sign of mozzies or sandflies, which was incredible just arriving from nearby Longreach where we had to keep repellent handy! We had a lucky timing to see how preg testing is done for the ewes and holding a lamb was even more of a highlight for the kids than splashing in a wam hot tub for hours!

We loved our three night stay. We took to five hands tour and found that interesting. The artesian bore bath was great laying there looking at the stars at night never gets old. David runs a great station highly recommend. It was our second visit to Dunblane station and certain it won’t be our last.

We loved our stay at Dunblane. The directions were easy to follow and the site was amazing. It was an easy drive to Barcaldine as well. It was very relaxing and enjoyed the open space. The bird life including a chatter of budgies and artesian spa was the highlight for us. David was an excellent host showing me through the shearing shed.

Great spot with easy access for large van not far off the bitumen. Hot artesian baths very much a highlight, nothing better than soaking up some minerals watching a big sky sunset 👍 Finished off sitting around a fire under a star filled sky. Well done David 👍

What a fabulous experience for a night off grid as a family. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Dunblane. The hot tub was a winner for sunset soaks!!! The kids loved watching the emus strolling by.

I would absolutely recommend Dunblane to anyone who would love to relax in a tub of artesian warm water while watching the sunset, sharing only with the wildlife. Great communication from host via text. This is our second visit & will be back.

A great spot to pull up and enjoy everything the Barcaldine region has to offer. The outdoor baths were a definite highlight with both kids and adults alike! David was a great host, very welcoming and responsive. Will definitely look to stay again 😊

We really enjoyed our 2 night camp at Dunblane. David was very friendly, excellent with his communication, and invited us to help feed the lambs while there. The outdoor artesian bath was phenomenal to watch the sunset from our private site. It was really nice to have our own fire too. We could hear the birds chirping each morning and heard the sheep go past. We spotted brolgas, emus, kangaroos, bustards, and the farm animals. We highly recommend this rustic camp spot and will be back!
