Located in the heart of the Daintree Rainforest where you will see plenty of wildlife and birds and enjoy an endless number of adventures you will find our wilderness campsites. Enjoy all this beautiful region has to offer including rainforest walks, beautiful beaches, stunning waterfalls, crocodile spotting, fishing, snorkeling on the Great Barrier reef and plenty of 4WD tracks to explore. We are within easy reach of Daintree Discovery Centre and the Daintree River Cruises. There is so much to see and do in the area that you will never be bored. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided, there is plenty of firewood too. We have a pit toilet available for campers to use. Super camping en mode Robinson crusoe, en plein milieu de daintree forest, super bien placé, au milieu de la nature très beau. Paul, le propriétaire est vraiment très gentil, attentionné et discret.. Super accueil, on a adoré discuter avec lui et ses conseils sont très pertinent... Super, même pendant la saison des pluies, douche au milieu de la forêt, peu d emplacements... Hors des sentiers battus....

Daintree Wilderness Rainforest Camp
Camping at Paul’s place was fantastic. It really feels like you’re off the beaten track with everything the Daintree has to offer close by. The site has everything you need to nestle in for your stay and the hosts are more than gracious. Such a great experience and would love to go back and see the space once they have installed their cabins.

Daintree Wilderness Rainforest Camp
Camping out at Pauls campground was definitely a great way to experience the Daintree. Sites are quite close together but the sites themselves are spacious enough. A lot of wood provided for a campfire.

Daintree Wilderness Rainforest Camp
The time in the tent was wet as there was unseasonable rain and lits of it. The place would be noce in dry weather. Showing in an outside shower with forest views. Toilet was a portaloo which was kept cleaned. Paul and Sharon are friendly with big plans for the future and local tips to explore the area.

Daintree Wilderness Rainforest Camp
The grounds find a perfect balance between manicure and rainforest, amenities are exactly enough to be useful but not feel like an “amenities block”. The hosts were BEYOND accomodating, warm and inviting. We WILL be back, despite unseasonal rain.

Paul, you went above and beyond on this one. Thanks for staying up so late to meet us and answer our frantic calls as we tried to navigate FNQ. Such a pleasure to stay with you and what an amazing location. We can’t wait to get back up there and look forward to seeing you progress towards having huts there. But for our campervan it was perfect. See you soon legend
