A wonderful, quiet place with very nice, thoughtful hosts. This was the only place we could find in close proximity to Pittsburgh and you'd never know you were close to the city. Highly recommend!

I was in late and out early. This place is great for a traveler’s much needed R&R. It’s got all the basic provisions for recharge, refill, and discard trash. The gravel is level, the neighborhood is quiet, and if you’re facing east the sunrise is a can’t miss feature. Host is friendly, communicative and takes the time and effort to make this a great camp.

Ian's place was perfect for our needs. It was close to everything, but felt pretty private considering it was next to the house. They had electricity which was a plus. It was very easy to communicate with Ian. The place was easy to find and set up. Would definitely use them next trip to Pittsburgh.

Would definitely stay here again. Great location, quiet, safe and welcoming. Everything was as described and pictured. The hosts provided a visitor guide with a lot of great info.

Had a great 3 day stay with our fantastic hosts, Ian and Kaitlin. The site was very wide and was able to accommodate our RV and SUV, Ian and Kaitlin were very gracious with our pet by allowing us to walk him and play with him in their yard, and gave us great suggestions for things to do in the Pittsburgh area.
This campsite is close to shopping and just 30 minutes from Pittsburgh. Will definitely stay here the next time we come back to the area.

We had a great two day stay with Ian. If you are looking to see sights in Pittsburgh and want a quiet and comfortable place to stay, this is it. We had access to water and 30 amp shore power and were able to get to downtown Pittsburgh in minutes. The spot has gravel but no shade but it was perfect for what we needed. Would stay again.

Great communication with Ian even tho booking was last minute. Quiet, very green space to park away from the city, but with plenty of amenities tucked nearby. Slept like a log. Thank u!

Easy interstate access South of Pittsburgh, plenty of space at Ian's for my 24 foot camper. Ian was helpful with directions and questions. Only had 20 amp service available but he said an electrician is coming next week to put in 30 amp service. Sewer line hook up was available too. Will definitely stay there again when in the Pittsburgh area.

I absolutely loved my camp spot!! Ian and Kaitlin are so accommodating and kind. I travel all over the country working on the pipeline and without a doubt this has been my absolute favorite HipCamp. Whether it's for a one night or long term, you're in for fantastic stay. For sure the next time I'm in the area for work I will be posting up my trailer at Cliff Mine Heights :)
PS: TONS of places to eat and visit in the area!

We enjoyed our quiet stay at Ian’s place. Nestled back in a quiet neighborhood but very private. Close to the highway, easy on and off access. Ian was very accommodating. We would stay here again.

A nice spot to camp near Pittsburgh. The gravel site was level with room for our 17 foot camper and our car parked next to it. The 15 amp outlet provided enough electricity for lights, fan and refrigerator. Our stay was quiet and private and the backyard nice for walking our dog. The gravel driveway was somewhat steep and uneven but we had no difficulty driving up to the house. Ian was a friendly host and had written information regarding the camp site and tourist suggestions in Pittsburgh.we would stay there again.

My daughter wanted to attend a convention in the city. The closest campground was a good 45 minutes away. I didn't want to take that ride back and forth. While exploring options I found Ian's posting on Hipcamp. It is perfect. I have 15 v electricity hooked up to run fans in my Basecamp and access to water . Ian greeted us upon our arrival. I knew that if I needed anything I could ask. Absolutely recommend Ian's place.

Nice litte spot for the Nomadic, traveling professional. A nice, level, easy to get set up....and Ian is a super nice guy. I even told him he needed to raise his nightly fee a bit!
