Loved this stay. Big green mowed grassy area including a large pond. We enjoyed the campfire, and watching the various birds, horses, sheep, and the ram.
Set in a beautiful location. The property almost feels like living in a fairytale.

My family and I had a great time camping at Mary’s Place. We loved the area and the friendly animals. The sunsets were so beautiful. Mary was so so lovely. We will 100% go back. My daughter gave it 20 stars out of 10!

We loved staying at Mary’s place. Just us and the animals, it was so peaceful & serene. We really enjoyed laughing at the geese, peacock & peahens. The horses and the goat were friendly too. A very relaxing getaway, highly recommend it.

What a wonderful peaceful beautiful spot to spend a few days at. Mary our host was so lovely kind and inviting. The property is private and so pretty. Flat ground everywhere so pick your spot. Only two bookings at anyone time so no crowds. Walked about the property and stroked the horses who are so friendly but not so friendly as Mary’s goat. So cute and loves to be stroked. Highly recommend staying there and will return again. Thanks Mary for everything.

Marys place is very close to town if you need supply.
My stay was quite and peaceful just what I needed after working in town.

It was a convenient spot, close to town. Although we were close to the road there was hardly any traffic and Mary was very helpful about logistics with arrivals and departures.

A good base if you are self sufficient and want a place close to Young and surrounds. You can camp under two different shady spots in a farm paddock and there is a nice lawn over looking the dam. Thanks Mary.

A very quiet spot next to the dam with the geese majestically sailing in the sunshine. The gutso goat willing to eat anything and the beautiful horses happy to eat any spare apples...nice and flat with shade trees if you need to..highly recommend it to any caravanor

Young Country getaway was so pretty and quiet. Their animals are super friendly and calm, the goat in particular loved his pats. A good mix of shade and sun sites. The dam was a nice place to sit and have a coffee. The shed has a few activities if you wanted to use them. Would recommend to anyone.

Fantastic stay at Young Country Getaway, with grounds in immaculate condition, with plenty of space and sights to keep kids busy. Easily accessible and only a short distance from Young, so easy to get to shops and the Young Aquatic Centre was also a big hit with family. Mary was great to deal will and highly recommend. Big thanks and will be back again!

Mary is a lovely host and has a fantastic little farm. My kids spent their time running around with the ducks, sheep and horses. There is also a goat and pig in the neighboring property that will come for a look at the visitors. Very quiet and a much better option than a caravan park. Thanks Mary!

Beautiful rural camping spot close to Young. Grassy paddock with lots of native bird life and farm animals nearby. Mary was very accomodating, highly recommended!

Mary Park was a beautiful little hidden countryside gem that has been nurtured and developed by the lively Mary herself. Lovely green camping spot under the trees near a beautiful dam/pond with beautiful white geese and Guinea fowl . The property has a cute Aussie sheering shed surrounded by gardens and well manicured grounds :)

We stopped here for one night while passing through. Mary and her daughter were very helpful and accommodating.
The kids loved the adventure around the property. The sheep, geese and gorgeous horse Winnie was a huge hit.
We purchased 2 bags of firewood from Mary and were able to have an open firepit.
Would stay here again if we were ever down this way in the future.
