Property Update. We now have two sites. One dedicated for tent or camper trailer/caravan camping and our new bell tent for a glamping experience. Both sites are private and well separated from each other. We now also have a clean new toilet available for all campers and bell tent guests. Wombat Pines is 55 acres with a natural spring fed creek, wombats, kangaroos, sensational views and a 25 acre pine forest to explore. Nestled in the picturesque Kosciuszko region, Wombat Pines is a charming rural property that embodies the tranquility and natural beauty of the Australian Alpine region. Surrounded by rolling hills and lush greenery, this idyllic retreat offers a serene escape from the hustle and bustle of urban life. Wombat Pines is only 30-minutes from Cooma and 20-minutes from Adaminaby. It is characterised by its expansive landscapes, featuring sprawling sheep farms dotted with native flora and fauna. The property is crowned by a gentle hill, providing breathtaking panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and valleys. A babbling creek meanders through the property, adding a touch of serenity to the already peaceful ambiance. For outdoor enthusiasts, Wombat Pines offers a plethora of activities, from hiking, mountain bike riding, birdwatching, trout fishing, skiing, hot springs and exploring the magic of the Kosciuszko National Park. The property's rural charm and proximity to nature make it a perfect retreat for those seeking a quiet and rejuvenating escape in the heart of the Australian high country.

Bell Tent with Mountain Views

Bell tent · Sleeps 5 · 1 bedroom · 1 bed · 1 toilet
Tucked away in a private location our new bell tent offers a comfortable retreat to escape the city and take in nature. The tent looks out onto a grassy field frequented by wombats, rabbits, kangaroos and wallabies. Of an evening wombats can be seen feeding on the grass and at night you'll be treated to a million star view. The 5-metre bell tent has a comfortable double bed, and has room for extra blow-up mattresses. A small table and chairs inside and a fire pit and table outside makes your stay super comfortable. Just a short walk from the bell tent is a clean and tidy toilet. Please note that while we are pet friendly there is a strict no pets inside the bell tent policy. As we have no laundry facility at Wombat Pines you will need to bring a double sheet and your own pillow and sleeping bags and/or blankets. There is no drinking water available so this will be required also. We do not allow firewood collection on the property so please BYO firewood. For groups of up to five there is room on the grass next to the tent for an extra tent or two. Extra people are $30 per person per night.
