We had an amazing time camping here. The camp site was wide open with nicely mowed grass with lots of privacy. The river spot was magical and secluded with plenty of water for swimming and jacuzzi like waterfalls. We'll be sure to be back again!

Camped at site 3, it was exceptional! Beautiful fresh water, mowed lawns, compost toilet and fire pit, all in excellent condition. Mottled shade in late afternoon.

Lovely camp! Freshly mowed grass, good firepit with firewood available to buy. Easy access to the river which was so refreshing. Toilet setup excellent as well. Good privacy from the adjacent camp site. Even saw the local platypus! Will return :)

Stuart offers a pristine camp site. We love coming here. The creek frontage is beautiful, the composting toilet is immaculate and we always enjoy our stay.

All the sites have something to offer, beautiful grassy fields with plenty to explore. Firewood can be purchased $25/bag.

This was our second time back to Stuart’s campground - we loved it so much last year, we had to come back!
We stayed at site 3 on our first visit, but could only book site 2 the following time. It was beautiful, peaceful and well kept.
We preferred site 3, as its more private (site 2 shares a toilet with site 1, although it is still private nonetheless) and site 3 had better access to the river.
Toilet is well maintained, there are no faults to this property!
We will definitely be back once again, it’s one of our favourite campsites we’ve ever stayed in. Thanks again Stuart!

Beautiful property and campsite right near the river which is wonderful to swim in. Clean, lovely soft grass, and Stuart very kindly welcomed us in and assisted to bring gear in. Can't wait to come back.

Awesome secluded spot down at site 3, the running water into the dam just made the spot on another level, plenty of room around & very well maintained, toilet was very clean also.

We had a great family new years escape at Stuart’s place. It was the perfect place to unwind with no phone reception making it easy to disconnect from the outside world. We set up camp and spent 4 days swimming and chilling by the creek, watching wildlife and cooking on the fire. We can’t wait to go back.

This place is magnificent. Wow. We are still talking about this campsite days later and it has set the bar so high for all the follow afterwards. Stuart met us at the house and drove us down to the campsite. It was so lush and private, and it’s clear Stuart takes a lot of pride in maintaining his property. The river was cool but refreshing and having this little stretch of paradise to ourselves was incredible. We are still shocked that we had it all to ourselves as you could easily fit 4 campers on this patch. The compost loo with a view was a great feature, and having a fire pit was a huge bonus. We would consider ourselves lucky to be back!

Beautifully maintained camping area we had a huge grassy and flat spot by the river with a fire pit. Appreciated the çlean composting toilet. The swimming hole was deep and had a flat granite rock in the middle of the river that the kids spent hours jumping off. Stuart was an easy going host who offered us early arrival and late pack up. We had a wonderful weekend!

Our 3rd time to this property, 2nd time on site one, as usual Stuart has it well maintained and looking lovely. Excellent flat grassed campgrounds with heaps of room. This site is located on a bend in the river with easy access to deep pools and waterfalls. After our second trip is the pic of the three in our opinion. Host advisers 4WD only and he is right. The track in and out after a spot of rain in very slippery. We suggest taking some basic recovery gear such as recovery tracks.

We had an amazing time on Stuart’s property , so much to explore in the area & so many hidden gems .It was so relaxing at the property & was very well maintained with beautiful grassy sites .The river was stunning & lovely for a dip

Our second trip was as amazing as the first. This is by far the most private and spacious site we’ve ever been to. I could sit under the gum tree for hours, listening to the sounds of nature and taking in the peaceful view of the waterhole surrounded by boulders and weeping willows. Stuart is very friendly and accommodating. Thank you again!

Fantastic spot! Very peaceful and private. So good to be able to have my dog off a leash, have a swim in the river and just chill. Stuart was very responsive with his communication. Nice grassy campsite with a fire at night. Lots of birdlife and local trees were in flower. Very pretty. Would definitely recommend.

We camped at site 1. Very large grassy area. Easy river access with beautiful swimming holes. Lots of birdlife. Very private and peaceful. Stuart was a great host. 100% recommend!

My partner, 2 kids and pup loved our stay at site 3! Peaceful getaway. Swimming hole is great just not much of a shallow spot for the kids to play.
Stuart has firewood and there is a few for pits ready to go. All in all great stay !

I recently camped at this secluded retreat and had an incredible experience. Upon arrival, we were greeted with breathtaking views and a beautifully kept environment. The campsite was serene and private, and we loved having a private waterfall and swimming hole to enjoy. The camping experience was made even more delightful with the provision of delivered firewood, allowing us to warm up by the campfire. Overall, it was a perfect nature getaway that I’d highly recommend.

This was hands down the best Hipcamp I’ve ever stayed at. I booked Site 3 and it was absolute bliss — completely private, tucked away in its own secluded area. The site is beautifully maintained and set right on the river, with super easy access if you want to go for a dip.
There’s no phone reception with Optus, which for me was a huge bonus — the perfect excuse to properly switch off. There’s even a tidy little outhouse.
Stuart is a top bloke. He welcomed me, showed me around the site, had a friendly chat and then left me to enjoy the peace and quiet — exactly how I like it. I brought my dog along, and because she’s not a fan of other people or dogs, the secluded setup made it absolutely perfect for us.
I honestly can’t fault a thing. It’s rare to find a place that nails everything, but this one does. I can’t wait to come back.
