Very enjoyable location smack bang on the beautiful Clarence River.
Fire place with fire wood there.
Unfortunately though it's no one's fault, the weather was appalling.
Would definitely recommend this camp-site.

Peaceful, serene site offering plenty of space for whatever your set up. Greg and team were extremely welcoming and full of smiles! We were lucky enough to see a pod of dolphins swim by on our arrival!

We stayed here for 3 nights with another couple. A delightful campsite right on the Clarence River, 5 minutes from Maclean. Plenty of space, large, grassy sites, a warm welcome from Greg, our host, & a surprise addition of excellent toilets since we booked. We had a lovely time & highly recommend it.

We had a bad storm there when I recently stayed

Beautiful spot right on the Clarence River. Fire pits and plenty of room. Highway noise is there, but it’s not too intrusive to sleep. I really loved it, so did my dog, she was obsessed with watching the jumping fish and all the water birds and dragons. Greg was lovely and ready to help. All in all a great experience!

Lovely riverside spot. Greg met us at the gate and explained all the features. Just two other camps, well-spread out. Toilet block brand new. Firewood available for purchase (cash; homesty system).

A lovely place to camp on the river’s edge. Beautifully maintained site with mowed grass and shady trees along the water’s edge. Plenty of space, level and easy to access. The toilets are new and clean. Greg, the owner, is great with his communication and very accommodating.

This hipcamp was absolutely stunning! The views were amazing. The toilets were very clean. There is firewood onsite to purchase. We even saw a pod of dolphins swim past at sunset.

Just stayed a second time at Wideriverwater. It is a beautiful, grassy and easy to access campsite right next to the river. Greg, the owner is very friendly and helpful.

The site was very clean toilets were clean and new
The site had good access
nicely mowed grass
And each site had a fire pit
Firewood was available
And there was also town water available
There was also plenty of shade

A beautiful, peaceful grassy spot right next to the river. The camping paddock is quite level and easy to access.. Some shady trees along the water’s edge and fireplaces. The road noise is minimal at night. Greg, the host, was very helpful and friendly. A really nice place to camp.

Convenient spot just off the highway. Great views, peaceful with new toilets (an unexpected bonus). Right on the river although access to swim or fish is limited.

The location is absolutely beautiful! We could camp very close to the river — a perfect spot for fishing. The site is very well maintained, and firewood is provided for campfires. Greg is super cool and incredibly hardworking, always keeping the place clean and tidy.
There are two toilets on-site, and they deserve a special mention — they were super clean! Greg makes sure to clean them every day, which really shows his dedication.
We would highly recommend this place to friends and will definitely be visiting again!

Such a gorgeous spot! Greg was super friendly, gave us a really good rundown of the space. It had very good clean toilets and drinking water! He also sold bags of firewood with a honesty box and the firepit was already there which means you can get set up super quickly! The view of the sun setting over the water is phenomenal. Would recommend this spot to anyone

Great spot right beside the river. Plenty of shade if you want it, or a sunny spot for solar. Good location to base yourself for a look around the area.

Great site, right on the river bank and plenty or room. Perfect for a a nights stopover or as abase for a few days to explore the area. Greg’s a great host always happy to meet you, have a chat and give some tips of things to do and see.
Will definitely be back.

Lovely part of the Clarence river- south arm. We had a fire at night and enjoyed the shade in the afternoon by the river. Greg was friendly. The highway is close and we could hear it a bit at night.
