Our property is a working Truffle Farm, our land is fairly level but backs onto thousands of acres of Crown Land and the Shoalhaven River where you can relax in the fresh water, fossick for gold or enjoy bush trails. EV Charging station available Type 2 plug (costs applicable). If you'd rather read a book, you'll find lots of peaceful spots and the nights are just unbelievable with all the stars that shine so brightly.

Site is situated amongst the gum trees offering privacy and a beautiful vista of the truffiere.  Cleared area which is fairly level and can be accessed via a solid track.  A port a loo toilet is available on site and potable water can be provided (depending on drought conditions). We limit the amount of campers at any one time so that everybody has plenty of space however there may be another group visible. Campfires permitted when restrictions aren't in place.  Communal fire area, campers may gather their own firewood onsite from fallen timber. Dogs are permitted as long as they are on a lead at all times, we are a working farm with many animals so it's not ideal for them to roam free. Access from our property to the Shoalhaven River is available via a 4WD track or 2km walking track, we will provide you with a mud map upon arrival.

This cute off grid bush cabin is set amongst the gumtrees on our 100acre property that backs onto Shoalhaven River where you can swim, fish, canoe, prospect for gold and bushwalk. Enjoy a device detox as only Telstra service is available. The track from our farm to river is recommended for 4WD due to sand and steep slopes. It is approx. 2kms in length so makes a lovely bush walk or mountain bike ride (map provided in your room). The cabin and outdoor bath has been built using mainly recycled materials to provide a sustainable eco-tourism option. Featuring all the basics to make your stay comfortable like a slow combustion fire place, a queen and single bed, lounge, dining table, outdoor open air shower/bath for moonbathing plus a flushing outdoor toilet. The cabin has no power, there are solar and battery lights. It is camping without erecting a tent. You will also find a picnic table and fire pit outside where you can watch the bush TV. It has the facility to park a camper trailer or pitch a tent just close by for those extra friends (please book a camp site for these). There is a tap with drinking water, rubbish and recycling facilities. You will need to bring torches and an esky. A single burner gas cooktop and BBQ is available at the cabin with gas provided along with a wash up tub. There is crockery and cutlery provided along with coffee & tea making facilities. Our farm house is visible if you need anything, come up to the fence and sound the horn. It's far enough that you don't see or hear us. The area is yours to enjoy. Dogs are permitted as long as they are on a lead at all times, we are a working farm with many animals so it's not ideal for them to roam free. Ask us about collecting your own farm fresh eggs when available. Our farm is quite remote so no local takeaway services. The Nerriga Hotel, is 14kms away, they serve lunch from 12-3pm Wed to Sunday or dinner on Friday and Saturday nights 6-8pm. Ice is also available. Our closest towns are Goulburn or Braidwood, both 60km away, so you will need to bring all of your food and drinks. Ice is available from Nerriga Hotel. Games available upon request; giant jenga, Pétanque, Croquet. Books and games available in the cabin. Lots of beautiful areas to enjoy. STRA: Exempt

Glamping inside a designated onsite van with 12v lights (no power), flushing toilet, fire place, queen bed, king single bed and fold out lounge. Additional cabin behind van suitable for a couple or teenage retreat with double bed and lounge (extra charge).  Potable water in containers provided (no running water), outside table and chairs, BBQ, outside kitchen bench, single burner gas cooker and kettle provided.  You will need to provide your own linen (sleeping bags, pillows, towels), esky.  A wash up basin, garbage and recycle bins for clean up are provided. Our property backs onto Shoalhaven River where you can swim, fish, canoe, prospect for gold and bushwalk.  The track from our farm to river is recommended for 4WD due to sand and steep slopes.  It is approx. 2kms in length so makes a lovely bush walk or mountain bike ride. Our farm animals get fed each day at approx. 5pm, feel free to come on up if you wish to interact with our pets. Our farm house is visible if you need anything, come up to the fence and our dogs will alert us, however far enough that you don't see or hear us.  The area is yours. Games available upon request; giant jenga, checkers and Pétanque.  Lots of beautiful areas to enjoy. Our local pub, The Nerriga Hotel, is 14kms away, they serve lunch from 12-3pm or dinner on Friday and Saturday nights 6-8pm. It was a windy weekend but we were well protected . The animals were friendly and the highlight of my daughter’s stay . Our dog had a great time , for her first camping trip. The host were very friendly and accommodating. We will definitely stay again . Very peaceful and quiet , just what we needed . A short walk to the river to a beautiful location .

Great spot to camp. We normally camp by the river but in future, will stay here instead. Lovely to wake up with mobs of roos around and its family friendly and more secure than free camping down the road. Highly recommended for families who want to spend a few days panning without the worry of rangers and undesirables by the river. Lots of beautiful farm animals as well.

Tricia and Rainer want to share their beautiful farm and it shows in the way they try to make everyone’s stay a little bit special. Plenty of space to set up and private because you’re not right next to other groups. We had a large pile of fire wood waiting for us, which lasted the whole weekend. Friendly farm animals occasionally made a visit. A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing trip.

Cozy Van in Bush Setting
Beautifully maintained camping grounds and very nice setting. We camped, but also used the van as an ensuite/kitchen storage, which worked well. There's only a few camp sites which can be booked at the same time so there is a great amount of privacy and we could camp a long way away from other campers. Kids will love the farm animals, as ours did. Thanks Tricia for having us.

Absolutely beautiful location and peaceful. Lovely to watch the friendly animals wonder freely around the property. Tricia and her husband are very lovely and welcoming. Will definitely be heading back.

Really easy instructions to follow upon arrival. Greeted by the cows as we drove up to to the host house. Hosts made sure there was plenty of fire wood and the amenities were clean and provided a map to drive down to the river. The camp area was clean and really nicely maintained and it was lovely to know that the animals had free roam which meant I woke to horses near by for a morning pat. (recommended bringing along some carrots) Next day we adventured down to the river which was AMAZING but unfortunately did get bogged and lucky for us the hosts kindly helped us out to get us on our way to pack up our site and head home. The campsites are spaced out with plenty of flat ground to set up your camp. For the kids, lots of room to kick a ball etc. Took our little one for a walk along the fence line for some koala, possum etc spotting which he loved. Both hubby and I highly recommend adding this camp spot to your next trip.

Had a great stay at the Truffle Farm in Oallen. Plenty of space, private, lots of friendly farm animals around, including a jolly truffle pig! Tricia was very friendly and provided a map for some good bush walks as well as plenty of wood for the terrific fire pit... which was much appreciated as we got a couple of very cold nights!

This was an amazingly beautiful spot to enjoy some quiet time. Tricia and Rainer were absolutely amazing and were incredibly friendly and helpful. There is a short 4WD track to the river or it is a lovely walk. We managed to watch Barry the truffle dog in action and had visits to our camp spot from the pig and the cows. The camp spot is in an open field but surrounded on the edge by beautiful bush where kangaroos bound through. There are good campfire pits set up and plenty of space so you are not on top of other campers. We highly recommend this stay and we will be back.

The hosts were absolutely amazing! The portaloo was so clean and the place is incredible. So many animals to see and we did the truffle hunt. We got to taste some food with truffle in it and it was amazing. Would highly recommend this place and I will definitely be back.

Raymond and Trisha were so welcoming. Felt like we had the place to ourselves. Horses, cow, goats, chickens and the pig were very kid friendly. Plenty of good dry fire wood provided at our site. There is so much to offer at this property we wish we’d booked for 2-3 days not just a one night stop over. Hoping to come back again.

What a beautiful place! Tricia was an incredible host. Heaps of room to relax, the kids loved visiting all the animals and they even helped us out with a few teabags as we had forgotten ours. They helped sort us with wood for the fire too! Be sure to book in for truffle hunting activities in advance as we missed out this time. Certainly a convenient excuse for another visit!

We really enjoyed our stay, the farm is beautiful and the hosts very welcoming, including dropping off firewood for the campfire. We were the only guests, and having the whole field to ourselves was relaxing and a perfect way to soak in the amazing night sky. I would also recommend the farm fresh eggs, they were delicious for our breakfast.

Loved the comforts of a cabin plus outdoor fire and shower. The whole property is lovely and we enjoyed seeing the animals there as well. Close relatively to some great rides and bush. Will love to return. Thanks for your hospitality

We absolutely loved camping at the truffle farm. The cows and horses were incredibly cute and the little walk to the river was gorgeous, we felt like we were on the edge of the earth. The stars overnight were beautiful and the fresh farm eggs in the morning were a delightful touch. I'd love to be back!

We loved our stay at the farm! The animals were a real hit with our son and he hasn’t stopped talking about them. Tricia and her husband were kind an enough to offer us the cabin during the heavy rain which was an absolute life saver, we can’t wait to book in our next trip up to the farm and bring some friends and family along this time round

Had a very peaceful time on the farm. Hosts were very accommodating, warm and welcoming. The friendly animals kept my son busy and the van was very comfortable to be in.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay at the truffle farm. The farm animals were friendly and an extra excitement for the the kids. Perfect location not far from the pub and the river and perfectly peaceful and quiet. Tricia was an exceptional host and took the time to show us around and explain all about truffles. Portaloo was very handy- Just remember toilet paper and your own water to flush! Sites had beautiful picnic tables and fire pits. Looking forward to returning.

Absolutely loved our stay. Hosts were super nice and gave us clear instructions. The walk down to the river was amazing, a nice sandy area with shallow water perfect for our little dog (and a great spot for young children) very affordable in price and fire wood was provided. Can’t wait to stay again.

We loved our stay at the truffle farm! Tricia was a wonderful and very gracious host, who greeted us on arrival with a map to explore down to the Shoalhaven river. The camp area itself is well maintained, a lovely open pasture set a ways from the farm itself which is lovely and private. We had a 4WD so travelled down to both beach fronts on the map, and had them completely to ourselves- slow flowing enough for a toddler, and our paddle board ☺️ Tricia invited us along for the animal feedings every night, and the animals were very friendly. Our two year old loved it. We had a great stay, paid a very reasonable price and had a wonderful long weekend ☺️

Tricias place was fantastic. Great stargazing like we last time saw it in the outback. Quiet and level place, fun driving to the beach. Unfortunately we only stayed one night!

We spent 2 nights here and it was absolutely amazing! Hosts were so welcoming and helpful, the cabin was gorgeous, the property is breathtaking and we loved the 4x4 tracks! Highly recommend for anyone wanting a getaway where you can just relax and not have to worry about a thing!
