This gorgeous little spot “Travellers Rest” at Warrell Creek is about 20km outside of Nambucca Heads.
Positioned halfway from Brisbane to Sydney.
Awesome hot shower and bathroom facilities onsite.
Yarrahapinni National Park is just down the road.
You will find it on Hipcamp.
The beautiful dog is Molly, she has visited all of the campsites, getting lots of pats and giving lots of cuddles.

Had a lovely stay at travellers rest. The host Katie was very responsive. The campsite was kept clean and tidy. Their dog Molly is an absolute joy. Ten out of ten, would go again.

As described and a perfect stop if you’re travelling between Brisbane and Sydney. Showers were clean and hot.
Perfect spot to camp while travelling up/down the coast.
What I wasn't expecting was Molly the farm dog. Not only, when asked, did she walk me up and show me the bathroom but she slept by my tent a guarded me while I slept. At some point in the night there was, what I think, were foxes running a muck. Molly shot up, raced over to the noise and chased it away. I felt so safe knowing she was looking out for me!
We spent the night hanging out and sharing food, it was such a pleasant night. She was as far as I'm concerned, the host and protector of the land.
Molly needs a pay rise, promotion or something.
I'd return out of necessity for sure but I WANT to come back for Molly! She is the bestest girl!
Outside that, amenities were flawless. Great campsite all round.

What a lovely little spot! Really well maintained space and amenities - clearly very well looked after.
Stayed here with my dog, and with the camp ‘paddock’ being mostly fenced she was able to be off lead. She bonded with host’s dog Molly over their shared love of zoomies, play and sticks. They played all evening!

The place was immaculate. The toilet and shower was spotless and well stocked. We were lucky enough to be the only campers there and enjoyed the company of their dog Molly who wandered down to say hello.

Beautiful camp, well looked after pitches, clean facilities, HOT showers, reasonably priced and perfect for a stop over - even offering late checkout! Very flexible with my last minute booking and easy to find and park up. Will definitely be back!
My partned and I stayed here during our adventure up the coast of NSW. We absolutely loved our stay! We were immediately greeted by the resident puppies who stayed with us whilst we set up camp. The location was beautiful with fabulous views of the hills, trees and cattle. As we are in a van with no bathroom / shower this location provided both. The amenities were easy to locate, use and there were several fire pits close by. If we make our way back, we will absolutely be staying again. Say hi and give some pats to the dogs for us!

I loved my overnight stay at Travellers Rest campsite. Being the only camper there I had the pick of the sites. They were all good but I chose a lovely level site on the higher ground with fabulous views of the surrounding countryside. The toilet and shower were spotlessly clean and there was good heat and pressure for my shower. I loved the environment and overall setup but the highlight for me were the regular visits from Molly the dog.

Great spot close to highway and beautiful green grass to pitch a tent. The best of all the most hottest shower and cleanest toilet.

This campsite has absolutely stunning scenery, and the lawn is well-maintained. The restrooms and showers are spotlessly clean, which made our stay so comfortable.
The host’s dog Molly is such a sweet girl, she stayed with us pretty much the whole time, gentle and quiet. I already miss her so much. We will definitely come back again if we get the chance!
I loved my stay at Traveller's Rest. It is an easy and well kept with a beautiful vista.

It was such a lovely, peaceful spot. I enjoyed the bathroom with flushable toilet and warm shower as well. Highly recommend this beautiful property for a quick get away.
