We had booked a tent site, and when we saw it was going to rain, we decided to change the booking. We were 15 minutes away and contacted them by message to see if it would be feasible to change the tent camping to a cabin. She explained via message that the price was $202 since we had already paid $147, but said that to confirm she would need to contact them by phone. We contacted them by phone and made the confirmation. When we arrived, I asked my friend to go in and pay… and to our surprise, the price was $397, plus the $147. I went back to understand why, and she said that the prices were dynamic, that there was a storm forecast, and that this was the price. I tried to argue because they had informed us of the price, and we had already made the entire change by phone, and she had said that we only needed to arrive and pay the difference, but it didn't work. We had no choice since our tent wasn't sturdy enough, but I'd like to leave my feedback because I got the impression that they simply took advantage of us because of an opportune situation.
