Located on the Lake North, these powered sites at Tiona offer direct access to the lake with spacious sites suitable for caravans, tents or camper trailers. Setup on these great sites which offer glimpses of the lake through the palm forest, a mere 10m walk away. The precinct offers a nature based play area for kids, basic camp kitchen and full amenities at the Lodge block. All sites have power, water and are fully pet-friendly. Due to space, sites are permitted to have one car and van, camper van etc, we do not have room on sites for extra trailers or boat trailers, unless previously organised by contacting the park prior to arrival. Some sites can take vehicles longer than 30 ft, please include your vehicle length when making a booking or message us to check availability for larger sites

Beautiful setting! Lake on one side and beach on the other! The Campgrounds are set on each side of the road north to Forster but this does not detract from a charming and unique spot. The onsite cafe is just beautiful and the site is really well kept overall. We'll be back!

Great location with plenty of outdoor exploration options. Lake on one side and the beach on the other. Facilities are well maintained and very useful. Just unfortunate that the tent sites are so close to the road with minimal sound barriers.

Best campgrounds I’ve stayed at, the lake was so beautiful and dog friendly. Had all the facilities even cutlery in the kitchen. The pool was also great. Will definitely be back again.

We paid an additional $40 for a beachside site but were instead given a lakeside site, located right next to a bright light that made sleeping difficult. While the beach was stunning and the facilities were clean, it’s just dodgy to charge for something that wasn’t provided and not refund the full difference. After raising the issue through Hipcamp, we only received $16 back.

The Lodge rooms
The location is amazing! The lodge rooms are very basic and small, which meant that it was a bit difficult to chill out in the room with our two bigger dogs. The facilities are also pretty basic, so recommend you come prepared with cooking and cleaning items. Otherwise, we did enjoy our stay and the location is incomparable!

Beautiful spot, right by lake and the beach. We stayed at lake north and imo looked like the best of the lot, as lots of spots looked like they were close to the road. Facilities were great! Definitely a family vibe and lots of kid

Worst campsite we’ve ever seen

The campsite was so bad!! We started to set up but left within an hour. Our camping neighbors were 0.5 meters from our camper trailer, we didn’t even have space for our car (we had to park it 100metres+ away), our dogs had no space what so ever. The camping trailer only just fit in the site markings with the awning out, which lets us no space for anything else ( we put the size of our trailer down when booking thinking we would have more then just the trailer size site) We camp a lot and this is by far the smallest sites we have ever seen! We ended up paying and going somewhere else which was half the price and 5 times the space. And our new neighbour’s weren’t right at our door step. Never going back to tiona that was such a waste of money and time. Sorry for such a negative review, I’m not one to give reviews unless they are great but i want to save other campers time and money

We stayed in a cabin with our 2 dachshunds. The beach was on one side and Wallis Lake on the other. There were so many options for camping, caravanning, glamping or dormitories. Everyone was so friendly. Everything was so clean. Our dogs were made so welcome. Highly recommend Tiona!

Loved our stay here! The cabin was great, very clean and had everything we needed. The bed was really comfortabl. Service from the reception was great. Lovely location on the lake.

The sites are spacious and lots of trees. It is truly connected to nature. The facilities are older style but clean. The setting is fabulous. On a lake and a stroll to a surf beach. Our dog loved it! And so did we.

My partner and I loved Tiona’s camping! It’s a beautiful location right on the beach. We had a campsite right down the end which was nice and quiet and private. The facilities were fantastic and clean. It was nice to have a hot shower after a full day at the beach. It’s a short drive to some really beautiful beaches (Elizabeth & Boomerang), and around 25 to Seal Rocks. One thing to note, it’s quite close to the road so you do hear cars driving by at night and it was quite loud at times. We will definitely be back!
