Just 15 minutes from Goulburn, on the Southern Tablelands of NSW, our farm in Tarlo has 40 hectares of fields, bushland and river to enjoy and explore. With 2 km of Tarlo River access, extensive views of Tarlo Gap and Tarlo Hill, 5 km of paths and tracks, 4 picnic areas, swimming holes and more you can have your own rural experience for an afternoon, day or weekend. We have renovated a historic shed overlooking the river and valley with landscaped gardens and stairs down to the picnic area by the river where you can stay or host your own occasion such as a BBQ, party, conference or wedding (separate fees apply). Bush camping by the river or up on the back hills. Beautiful untouched wilderness with spectacular views for those that just want to pitch a tent, fish or swim in the river, or go for a walk or three. Far enough from the road to feel the quiet and solitude of the bush, but an easy walk back to The Shed and other campgrounds if you run into trouble or feel like some company. WALK IN ONLY - Car must be left at the parking area. Only a few hundred metre walk to the river and across.

Sitting by the banks of the Tarlo River you can pitch a tent, camper van or park your caravan under the willow trees. This site has a number of good swimming holes at your doorstep with direct river access. Easy walk to The Shed and Tarlo Valley Views campground (with toilet & communal firepit), tiered gardens, Tarlo Hill lookout, Old Bridge, more swimming holes and river access, and other picnic areas, Locate this site on Google Maps by searching "Tarlo River Campgrounds" or "The Shed At Tarlo" There are lots of native animals spart from the sheep and cows grazing on our back fields we have kangaroos, rabbits, ducks, birds and wombats that love to come through the area. Note: Track down to river is often wet and a little muddy during winter and periods of rain. Not a high gradient (1 in 15) but can get slippery if you are heavy, don't have the power or have off-road tyres.

Full height windows and bi-fold doors to the deck give access to the outdoor firepit, amphitheatre, paths and gardens to the river below. Large undesignated sites with easy 2WD access from a sealed road. with flat, level and hard ground. Separate entrance from the main driveway for convenient 24 hr access. A renovated shed with concrete floor, rugs, couch, benches, electricity, furnished queen bed, electric blanket, lights, multi-media system (including YouTube & streaming), TV, guest WiFi, camp kitchen facilities, indoor fire, arcade machine, board games, large barn doors, mood lighting and BBQ. Full height windows and bi-fold doors to the deck give views across the valley and river in all weather conditions. Exclusive private use of this space is yours from 6pm to 9am each night (from 7pm in summer) no matter whom else is on site. Airbeds and blankets available for extra guests or children. The night sky and rainbows after a storm are amazing! Also has an outdoor firepit area and benches with landscaped gardens, seats, paths and stairs to the river. Easy 2WD access from a sealed road.
