We have 250 acres (100Ha) of land, of which 175ac is for Livestock and remaining 75ac for bushy style camping . Enjoy the night sky, the wildlife, the quietness and several walk tracks. There are several camp sites to choose from, Grasslands camp/RV sites are in a large 5 acre clearing around the dam. Good for large and small groups. Creek Camp is a further 800m through the bush, a smaller site for privacy. ** Be aware of Fire Restrictions October to April: RFS website contact me. Access by 2WD Cars and vans OK except after much rain. Inquire if in question. ( A RV site near always available) 8km West off the Highway and 10km North from Tullymorgan Council Dirt Road conditions vary due to weather. Nearest Services- Woombah South turn off at Iluka Rd 7km # Fuel: Bimbimbi Riverside Tourist Park and Convenience Store # Rural Fire Station South: Chatsworth 11km, Chatsworth Rd Turnoff (300m after overhead bridge). School , Store, River Park. # Chatsworth General Store, Open 7-4 M-F, 8-3 Sat-Sun. Good Coffee and meals in picturesque location by the Clarence river Harwood, 13km South, turn off just B4 Big Bridge, then Nth # General Store and Post Office, Good Coffee ; Pies 7am-5pm M-F, Sat 8-12 # Harwood Hotel, Boat Ramp, Farm Store, Farm Machinery East: Iluka 33km 7km South, 25km East. # Fuel, Police, Ambulance, RFS, Post Office, IGA Supermarket Hardware, Food, Pub, Boating, Fishing Surfing, Club, Ferry to Yamba. East: Shark Bay - Drive On Beach 26km (7km B4 Iluka Village) South: Maclean 23km South # Hospital, Police, Fuel 24Hr, Fire, Court House, Club, Pubs, Cafés, Supermarkets (IGA, Spar), River Parks, Showground, Op Shops South: Yamba 35km Police, Fuel 24Hr, Fire Clubs, Beaches, Coles, Spar, Pubs, Cafés, Op Shops Sth West: Lawrence 27km (Dirt) Local Markets : Wed Yamba Farmers Market 7am-11 Wkly 1st Sun Iluka 6am-1pm 2nd Sat Maclean 8am-12 3rd Sun Ashby 8am-12 4th Sun Yamba River Markets 9am-2pm 5th Sat Woombah 8-11 Quarterly

You will hear the wind in the trees, bird calls and passing wildllife. Walk along the walking tracks or bush-bash to find an old tractor hidden away. There is 30Ha (75Ac) to roam about in if you wish, so you could get a bit lost! Local drives on the dirt to Ashby and Tullymorgan. Fishing, swimming beach 4wd at beaches near Iluka, Yamba Nearest Pubs at Harwood, Maclean, Iluka, Yamba Local drives on the dirt to Ashby and Tullymorgan. There is 30Ha (75Ac) to roam about in if you wish, so you could get a bit lost!

Gum Creek Camp

Isolated location, private, down the track from Grasslands. It is a small clearing surrounded by trees with a view overlooking a northern paddock. A Shady camp site amongst the trees. Walking trails 2WD possible, recommend 4WD with/ without campers. Max Vehicle and trailer length is 35feet/10.7M, height limit to 3m on track. Longer trailers may not make through bends and turn-a round. Cattle may roam in the paddock beyond the fence across the creek to the north. There is a normally dry creek just beyond the fence, which can swell dramatically in heavy rains.

Such a beautiful campsite, surrounded by nature and so peaceful. Rod was a wonderful host — super friendly and kind to pick us up. Highly recommend!

Excellent spot, stunning native eucalypt forests, plenty of birds frogs bugs logs. Interestingly I didn't see any ROCKS anywhere, which is something you don't really notice, but I did. As the evening mist settles in the way sound bounces around the valley is truly spectacular, sing something nice and loud, some old irish folk ballad or something, well worth it. The host Rhod was very helpful and full of information about the property.

Rod was lovely and helpful, led us directly to the site which was open grass surrounded by bush, private, dry and serene. My favourite hip camp I’ve stayed at.

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the dog walks on the cleared tracks and the serenity away from the tourist towns. It wasn't far to head to the beach for a surf to then return to the peaceful camp. Stars were incredible at night and Rhod was super helpful.

If you are looking to rest and disconnect, this is where you will definitely find it. Rob and Cathy are very good hosts, they guide you and give the best tips to enjoy this place.

If u love the aussie bush, this place will have u happy as a pig in mud! Its set away from everything, ur surrounded by bush which has tracks u can walk. Its beautiful hey. There are some great shaded spots and plenty of space between campsites. The ground is great for seasoned bare feet which is really awesome for how bush it is. If u want a real proper break from it all, i HIGHLY recommend this cost effective peaceful escape. The stars arw magnificent on a clear night, the birdlife soundscape is super beautiful. I heard new bird calls, I also heard an enormous roo bound away from my dog and I on a bushwalk on the property. Pack all ur supplies and book a few nights away from the grind here. Its really close to the freeway, although I wouldnt recommend arriving near dusk as there are a lot of roos around and the access road is unsealed it wouldnt be safe or responsible to the wildlife. Rod is lovely and so very willing to help you make the most out of his beautiful parcel of peace in the bush. Im also a single female camper and felt very safe here on Rods property.

Bush camping escape!

This was such a brilliant bush getaway. So peaceful with lots of space to set up camp and explore. Rhod is so lovely and accommodating and the farm fresh eggs are amazing! The dog was roaming endlessly living the dream- as long as you are prepared it’s the perfect camping adventure! We will definitely be back soon 🐾

So scenic and abundant in wildlife, another excellent spot at The Bulbin. No noise from the highway, just plenty of bird song. Rod was such a helpful friendly host, easy to talk to, and the eggs I purchased off him, from his own free range chickens were delicious. Will definetely be back, see you next year Rod😃

It’s a very peaceful, scenic place to stay, I love the wildlife. Rod is an excellent communicator, and very easy to get along with. Will definetely be back to enjoy this majestic space.

What a beautiful place… Rod is so easy to get along with, and a great host… fire pits with firewood, walking trails, toilet (on request), farm fresh eggs (on request), and so much serenity… sleeping to the songs of the frogs, singing to the flames of the fire, walking the forests with the birds… definitely be staying here again… big love 🙏🏼💜🫶

It was peaceful and quiet, couldn’t hear the highway traffic at all. I actually drove straight past the property, goggle maps fault, but after talking to Rod, he kindly assisted me with directions, thanks Rod😃. Will definetely return.
