Great host and great place to camp with easy tinny access to the river. The place is so quiet. We caught jewfish and flathead right off the jetty. Great for kids to explore the river system as well

We really enjoyed our stay at Branch River Retreat. Deborah was very accommodating and welcoming. We had the whole River front to ourselves which was lovely for the whole family. Took our tinny out on the river and had a beautiful interaction with some dolphins, saw a magnificent sea eagle, caught a couple of fish and enjoyed the serenity. Very peaceful spot. Look forward to coming back in the warmer months.

The house was fantastic! The pictures really don't do it justice! We had the fire place going all night to keep us lovely and warm. Our host Debora was lovely and so accommodating. The site had everything you could ever ask for, lovely views, a couple of good fishing spots and magic scenery. 10/10 would rent again!

Our group booked the Ranch River Retreat, for a quiet location on the river away from other campers to relax.
Our host Debora was friendly & very accommodating in what our group was looking for.
Only better weather & a few more fish bites would of made it better.

Great location, Deb was a super friendly host and overall smooth experience. Beautiful riverfront countryside spot to enjoy nature and slow down. Definitely recommended. GPS made us detour a few times due to incorrext (old) roadworks so worth ignoring the supposed closure of branch river lane/road.

We had such a nice stay. We were the only campers there for our two nights which made it feel more private. The location is just stunning right on the river! Deborah was an amazing host and was so accomodating and friendly for our whole stay. She even dropped off a bag of homegrown mandarins and avocados to us from her friends property! I would definitely recommend this place to anyone who wants a little relaxing getaway.

Lovely little site down by the river! We loved the dock, especially our dog who enjoyed a dip both days we were there. Toilets are clean with plenty of toilet paper. Deb was an awesome host - so very kind and more importantly, funny 😋
Had camp neighbours a bit down the road and below us but was far away enough that we couldn’t hear them or be disturbed.
Will definitely be back in summer when it’s a bit drier and warmer!

Our host was incredibly lovely however our site was too muddy from rain to relax in, we were towed in by tractor. The rain couldn't be helped but it didn't make it a nice experience.
Also we didn't feel we had privacy or the feel of camping as the cabin 30m from us was rented and we had a bright porch light shining on us all night along with cars and people coming back and forth to use the bathroom as we were right next to the road. The river sites would provide a nicer experience.

We had such a lovely stay over the long weekend, the views and surroundings were so lovely and peaceful! The place was perfect to relax with friends and enjoy some wildlife. Debora was a lovely attentive host who made us feel at home. Would strongly recommend this place, we will be returning!

This place is absolutely gorgeous, with beautiful dams, sprawling views and great fishing at the river and the dams. The host Debora is wonderful and kindly let our teenagers use her pool and pick limes and icecream beans from the huge tree at the cottage, which they loved.
We were all surprised by a hail storm which damaged our cars and gazebo, and flooded our tents. Debora was so kind to let us bunk at the farm and woke us up with warm coffee (thanks so much D). We had a great chat and Deborah explained some of the further improvements she had in mind.

It was a fantastic spot to relax for a few days by the river. Peaceful and secluded + plenty of space for everyone. Debora was a fantastic host and tended to any of our needs which made life easy. Would recommend it to anyone

Peaceful spot alongside the river, we enjoyed our stay and would be happy to visit again.
Pros: welcoming host, private and peaceful campsite, easy river access for a SUP or fishing or a rinse, safe from any major hazards for our toddler.
Cons: toilet far away from site, lots of mosquitos early morning and evening, river is very dark so was a bit off putting to swim in but still refreshing, tent site on a bit of an incline which would be ideal to flatten further.

Loved camping here! It was peaceful and private. The river was beautiful. We camped near site #3. Debora met us at the gate to help us find our site as it was dark when we arrived. If you are by the river make sure to bring some mosquito repellent. We didn't see any dolphins this time but saw lots of other wildlife like crabs, possums, and kangaroos.

Me and my friends went camping for the first time and it was truly an amazing experience.
The beautiful waterside view with the jetty and the late night view of the stars is amazing.
Debora really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had a good time.
Could not recommend more!

Beautiful spot right on the river with a pontoon as well as a boat ramp. Even though there was another group there, we were spread out enough we didn’t even notice. Debora was a lovely host, always checking in on how we were doing and quick responses on hipcamp.
