Sutton Farm is located in Sutton Forest, nestled in the Southern Highlands, and just an hour and a half from Sydney. Sutton Farm is easily accessible for all guests as we're just five minutes from the Hume Highway. Our historic stable complex featured as a setting in the iconic Australian movie, “Phar Lap”, and includes stables boxes immediately adjacent to our indoor arena. Please note only one tent or one vehicle, one caravan per site. Just minutes from the shopping delights of Bowral and Moss Vale, and an easy drive to other historic Highlands towns like Berrima, Bundanoon and Robertson, a stay at Sutton Farm puts you right in the middle of everything the area has to offer. This is the perfect weekend escape for busy city folk and a magical getaway for families. Our Equestrian Centre boasts state of the art equestrian facilities within a beautiful, historic setting. The lush, undulating green hills are shaded with leafy trees. We love our horses. We host horse lovers events twice a year, and offer boutique training, horse riding lessons, functions and five star events. We welcome all types of camping guests from tents through to campervans and caravans. The camping area is 2WD accessible. You are welcome to choose where you’d like to set up on arrival. PLEASE ARRIVE BEFORE 5PM. A gate code will be given on arrival if you need to exit after 5pm. We have a large open, grassy area close to the amenities or you can tuck your campsite away under the trees. PLEASE TAKE ALL YOUR RUBBISH WITH YOU. We have very comfortable toilet and hot shower facilities, with access to drinking water. For those wanting an indoor stay please check out our Loft above the Stables listing, a wonderful and quirky accommodation option that puts you right near all the horse action. No pets please. Take all your rubbish with you. ARRIVAL BEFORE 5PM We ask while staying with us you do not pat or feed the horses. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sutton Farm Equestrian Centre. A beautiful spot in a beautiful part of the world. A great place from which to explore the Southern Highlands. Kathryn and Bree were very helpful and made us feel welcomed.

It was fantastic Kathryn took the time to tell us of the history of the farm including the stories of Far Flap. We the had the chance to watch some pony training inside the stables. We will definitely be staying there on our return trip.

What a lovely place to spend a few days. Fantastic to be surrounded by paddocks with horses and to watch riders training in the horse jumping arena. Highly recommended. Great hosts - lovely to chat to them

Good facilities. Woke up looking at a couple of horses - the other side of the fence. Which was different, in a good way. Interesting place. Hope to come back one day when I have a bit more time. Many thanks Kathryn 😊

We had a lovely 2 night stay at Shady Camp near Sutton Forest. The campsite was so pretty and quiet under the weeping willow and beside the dam, with nothing but the ducks to disturb us. The hosts were helpful and low key, and the bathroom facilities basic but clean. The Sutton Inn nearby and Moss Vale have great cafes and restaurants.

I had a fantastic experience at this campsite! The location is beautiful and well-maintained, with a peaceful setting close to the horse stables. It’s also conveniently just a few minutes’ drive from Sutton Forest Inn, making it easy to grab a meal or drink nearby. The facilities were excellent—clean bathrooms and great hot showers, which made the stay even more comfortable. I was warmly welcomed by Dee, who was incredibly friendly and took the time to show me around. Her hospitality made a great first impression! Overall, this campsite is a great choice for anyone looking for a relaxing and well-kept spot in nature. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful picture perfect property. We had it all too ourselves which was lucky as it was our very first time in our Van. Has exceptional clean amenities. Wake to the sound of neighing horses. Perfect.

I stayed at Sutton Equestrian Farm for one night as I needed to pick my son up from camp early the next day. Even though it was pouring with rain, the property is so charming, peaceful and full of wildlife. Perfect! Dee who met me was lovely and really friendly. Kathryn was extremely helpful when booking. I highly recommend!

A very peaceful stay by the pond - we enjoyed wandering around and checking out the horses, and a lovely tour of the stables with Kathryn! Not far out of Sydney, driving in the next morning.

We loved our quick visit to Sutton Farm! We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves and enjoyed watching the horses, ducks, bunnies and frogs in such a beautiful scenic location. Camp spot was perfect besides the lake, clean amenities and a lovely host. Thanks Kathryn, we will definitely be sharing this top spot with family and friends!

Beautiful spot beside the pond where we watched the ducks and bunnies play. Great shower and toilet facilities nearby. The Red Cow gardens and Sutton Forest Inn down the road were both fantastic.

Perfect place to stay. Right beside the pond, filled with ducks and frogs. Peaceful and beautiful. The sound of the wildlife was a wonderful way to drift off to sleep each night. I even saw a deer first thing in the morning. Kathryn was so friendly and justifiably proud of the property. Clean well maintained bathrooms and very easy access to the site.

Waking up to the view over the dam was beautiful. Such a pretty setting. We enjoyed the frog symphony at night (if you don't want to listen to that, earplugs easily block it out) and watching the politics of the ducks, as they sorted themselves out at night. A beautiful base for Moss Vale and Bowral.

We enjoyed a great 3 night stay at Sutton Farm! Directions to the farm were clear and Kathryn was a brilliant host. We were tent camping by the dam, that site was beautiful and bathrooms were clean - hot showers are a treat! Couldn’t recommend Sutton Farm more highly. We will be back!
