Nestled on a sprawling 125-acre farm surrounded by tranquil State Forestry, this riverside camping site offers an idyllic escape for campers and outdoor enthusiasts. Set right beside the picturesque Cyne Mallows Creek, which meanders into the majestic Clyde River, this site promises a genuine bush experience with all the space and serenity you could wish for. There is plenty of space for even the largest caravans. Location and Accessibility The campsite is accessed via a 3 km stretch of excellent dirt road, followed by an easy access track suitable for all vehicles. Situated less than 10 minutes’ drive from Nelligen, you’re never far from a hot coffee at the local café or a cold one at the pub. For those wanting a day at the beach or a spot of shopping, Batemans Bay and its beautiful coastline are less than 15 minutes away. Campsite Features The campsite is a large, well-maintained, mowed grassed area right on the banks of Cyne Mallows Creek. It is suitable for groups of up to 10 people. There is a fire pit and firewood supplied. This spacious, open site is perfect for pitching tents, parking your caravan, or setting up your camper trailer. You’ll be surrounded by rolling paddocks and thick forestry, giving you a true sense of seclusion and immersion in nature. Pets are welcome, well-behaved dogs are allowed off leash. Facilities and Amenities For those keen on camping in its purest form, this site is off grid—there’s no potable water or power available so self-contained campers only. You’ll need to bring your own drinking water and shower set up. Please ensure you take all rubbish with you and leave the site as you found it, preserving its natural beauty for the next visitors. Recreational Activities Cyne Mallows is great for fishing and boating with a launch spot. You can also enjoy kayaking, SUPing and swimming. There are plenty of bush tracks and fire trails outside the farm in the surrounding State Forests, perfect for motorbikes and trail riding. When you’re ready to see more of the region, you’re perfectly placed to explore. The charming riverside town of Nelligen offers a welcoming café and a classic Aussie pub.
