Had a great stay at Serendipity. Plenty of room to stretch out, nice hot shower and lovely hosts. Tony said g'day to introduce the place then left me to my own devices! I was there solo but I reckon it would go down a treat with a little crew as well. I would definitely recommended

Only stayed a night. Tony was very friendly and accommodating. Toilet and shower neat and tidy. Nice fire pit. Not too far out from Parkes city. Pretty convenient

Serendipity Campsite
Our family LOVED staying at Serendipity.
We were lucky enough to have the place to ourself so set up by the fire pit and made the most of the complimentary fire wood. The sunset views were spectacular and the kids had plenty of room to run and play. 10/10 recommend.

We spent two great nights camped at Kate and Tony's lovely property. Nice grassed paddock with 0plenty of room and a great communal fire pit (although we could have had our own fire should we wished). Easy access to Parkes. Highly recommended.

Serendipity Campsite
Kate and Tony were very friendly and welcoming. They presented the camping area very nicely with the freedom to walk around their property. It was 10mins to Parkes, so well placed.

We stayed for three days here with friends of ours. This was such a beautiful spot and Kate and Tony our hosts were so lovely. We would definitely stay again. They even had hot showers and toilet based on an honesty box system. Beautiful sunsets too and not too far from town.

Cabin
Kate, Tony & kids are the best. Make you feel right at home. Directions were clear. Views were beautifull & the cabin was a lovely surprise and super clean.

We ended our camping trip here and it was a good call. Kate and Tony are very welcoming and helpful. There's a toilet and a shower and plenty of space. Would recommend.

Open space., beautiful views of the dam. Clear skies at night reveal the milky way in all its glory.
Porta pottie toilets available, which are handy if you don’t have a toilet on board.

What an amazing family stop over!
We had a fantastic time at this Hipcamp! Our host was so friendly and welcoming, and their three kids played with ours, which made our stay even more relaxing and fun.
The dam was perfect for our kids. They loved using the boat and kayak that were provided, and it kept them entertained ALL day!
Overall, it was a simple and perfect getaway. We’ll definitely be back!

Wonderful experience staying on Kate’s property. There were only a couple of others staying here despite the nearby Elvis Festival in town.
Kate was welcoming and extremely kind and concerned for our welfare when storms were forecast and assisted me and another group to move to higher ground.
The property is very well maintained and the amenities were spotless. I’ll happily recommend and stay again.

Perfect place for a peaceful, lazy few days over the New Year. Well set up bush loo (shower will be ready soon) plus plenty of space and convenient for Parkes. Kate, her husband and Jack the Jack Russell were welcoming and friendly and the views from the top of the property and the clear night skies were fantastic. Would highly recommend!

Great camping spot. Beautiful grassy camp site. They have a Hot shower facility which is a luxury when bush camping and a toilet. Highly recommend this camp.

Serendipity was absolutely a fortunate find! We stopped in the middle of a mega journey so that our Dish-mad teen could visit and the rest of us could rest from driving. The toilet was beautifully kept, and there was also a new shower! We loved the peace and quiet, and the view of the stars at night. Kate was very welcoming.

Kate and Tony came to meet us on arrival - very friendly and helpful hosts. The camping area has plenty of flat space and while it is not too far from the main road there was minimal noise, ensuring our stay was peaceful and relaxing. When you're out in the vast open spaces like Parkes, the night skies are brilliant and there is a great spot at the top of the property for viewing and taking great pics of the sunsets. We originally booked 2 nights but decided to stay another as we enjoyed it so much. Kangaroos came to visit as well as a few birds and our hosts' kids and animals. Loved it and will stay again when next our that way.

Tucked away in a quiet secluded spot with ample of room for our youn son to run around whilst we could sit back relax and watch him knowing it's a safe area. We were greated upon entry and even had fire wood dropped off was a added bonus. Plenty of room for the van, nice quiet relaxing spot.

We enjoyed a couple of peaceful nights, with a camp fire watching the setting sun over the plains.
Serendipity is a lovely spot to relax and is still close to town. We will be back when we have a chance .

From the minute we arrived at the property to the second we left it, Kate and Tony were friendly, welcoming and very helpful to find the perfect spot that was going to suit our camping needs. Their children were also friendly and inviting to our child to go off exploring their property with them.

We loved our stay at Serendipity, overlooking beautiful Canola fields in full bloom. Kate was very welcoming and even treated us to farm eggs and lovely fresh lemons. The sunsets were amazing and such a lively spit to admire the stars sitting at a camp fire

Serendipity is a beautiful property in the country just outside Parkes. Two great camping sites, plenty of space, near a dam with panoramic views and stunning sunsets. Great hosts, very welcoming and helpful. Ideal location for exploring Parkes then retreating back to the peace and quiet. Walks on the property with more viewpoints. Highly recommended.
