Fantastic riverside camping with a sandy beach. Quiet and peaceful location, no-one else in sight. Plenty of room and easy access for our 20ft van. Lots of firewood around. Thankyou John and Marita for sharing your property with us.

Amazing. Stayed at the sandbank location very scenic as well as great for kids with some shallow water. Very private as well didn’t see any other campers until leaving the property. John is a great host takes you into the campsite. No telstra at location so pre-set your gps!

Massive thanks to John and Marita for the privilege of being able to camp at ’Rosenhoe’ absolute peace and quiet other than nature itself. What a gem of a spot, we would definitely love to return one day. 10/10

O my goodness, this place is magic and exactly what a Hipcamp should be. John and Marita is super friendly and they have a beautiful property. The camp spot which is next to the river is one of the best I've experienced.
Yes, that's the word, I.e. this is not just a camp site, it is a beautiful memory and experience. Thank you John and Marita for allowing us to enjoy this stunning place.

What a beautiful quite peaceful place to stay. John was an absolute pleasure to deal with. He was easy to contact before our stay with any questions I had. He meet us to show us the camping spot and gave us great advice on the fishing. We are so very grateful that John and his family shared their little bit of paradise with us.

We really enjoyed our time at Rosenhoe Station. Met by friendly station owner on arrival who took us down to the location on the river, and what an absolutely stunning spot it was. Nice sandy beach that was private and peaceful that had loads of room to manoeuvre and set up a large caravan. A good stretch of river to throw the lines in. Birdlife was amazing as was the sky at night. Yes I would go back there! Thanks to John and Marita for having us!

What a fabulous spot! John led us down to our campsite, which felt like you were in the bush! The river was higher than normal however it was still accessible (thanks John!) for both swimming and our little tinny. Our rods were kept busy with carp, silver Perch, Yellowbelly (was awesome cooked over the fire!) and hubby was lucky enough to pull in a 62cm and 68cm Murray Cod - all from the bank, which were released back to the river. Definitely our favourite camp from our road trip. Looking forward to returning another time.

Awesome! This is the perfect Hipcamp. Ideal location on working livestock and cropping farm bordering the Wakool river, picturesque views in every direction. Country hospitality at its best with John going above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We hope to be back.

Absolutely stunning spot,we had a huge sand bar very safe for little ones, we had lots of fire wood never had to leave camp to get it,unreal little pub only a couple of kms down the road,that do a good feed. Definitely recommend

A truly wonderful experience each time we have been lucky enough to have a spot at Rosenhoe. Even when the rain came, it was still a fabulous stay. So beautifully peaceful with plenty of space to be ourselves, singing by the fire well into the night. Perfect.

Great safe spot on the river. Great spot for a group of friends to stay and enjoy the country and river. As hosts I couldn’t speak highly enough of them. Especially after >40mm rain in advice and tractor assistance in getting out of the area

When you first arrive it is a meet and greet. We met John who is the host of this property. He was very welcoming and after a quick chat, he took us for a drive to our camp site. This is a truly beautiful part of the Warkool River to stop to have a rest unwind and fish. there is other campers around, but these other camp sites are so far apart you don't see anyone else. There is peace and quite and to lay in bed and watch the stars. amazing place. will return again. many thanks for letting us onto your property John and Marita
