Fantastic week away at this beautiful camping spot on the Murray. Very peaceful and relaxing. Dogs had a ball helping Dad fish, playing footy and frisbee and chilling out by the fire at night. Darren also caught some fish.
Directions from Peter were easy to find the location and camping site.
Will be back again some time.

A lovely bush spot on the river - although the river is not accessible due to the steep incline. Still lovely to sit and watch the water go by.

What a spot! Recommend for anyone wanting a private spot along the Murray river.
Dog loved it too.
It felt very private and it’s not a far drive from Tooleybuc where there are some shops, toilets and places to fill the van up with water.
We did have a bit of trouble finding it at first but Peter was great and gave us directions.

We stayed 4 nights at Peter's property and had a very relaxing time. It was quiet, peaceful and private. Peter was a great host and even dropped in for a quick chat and to see if we needed anything. We even managed to catch a few fish. I would definitely recommend and will be returning again. Thanks.

Great location, lovelt spot by the river. Unfortunately didn’t get to spend the whole night due to unexpected health issues with the family.

Fantastic spot lots of space to set up camp if you were in a small group
Nice and quite no road noise, access to river bank, no issues with telstra phone coverage great fishing. Peter was on hand to assist in finding property just a small issue finding double gates due to entrance upgrade otherwise its well worth checking out l will defently returning!

Beautiful little spot, private, great fishing and perfect little sandy beach (with river level where it was for us). Unfortunately our stay was short - would love to get back there.

The camp area was secluded and quiet. The fishing was ok too. The spot had everything we needed which wasn't much more than a good camp spot near the water and a bit of wild life.

Quiet, peaceful area to camp on the Murray River. Waking up to the birds chirping as you step out of your camper to see the sun shimmering on top of the Murray River is spectacular.

We had a lovely time in this little nook of the Murray. Peter was responsive and answered all our questions. This little spot is on a quiet corner - we experienced no road noise or machinery from local farms- there was one morning of bird scarers for other local farms as previous reviews have mentioned but it was limited only to one morning, and hey, that’s often heard in this region. It didn’t incur on our experience and was minor, in such a lovely location. The solitude of this place is a rare find. We loved it. And will be back! Thank you Peter for opening up this site to share! For others be aware reception for phone is limited depending on your network. We didn’t care. Was nice to unplug.

Great spot nice and quiet.There is only really two spots there but that’s good if you’re going by yourself . Plenty of firewood lying around and no noisy bloody cockatoos 😀. Met Peter very friendly only need to put a sign up as we had trouble finding the entrance to the camp

Great spot, good swimming area with sandy banks and an excellent fishing hole right out the front. Plenty of wood to collect and you get the place all to yourself.

Murraywood is a great spot on the river. Be aware, the "main" camping area is under massive river redgums which clearly drop large limbs regularly and would have limited solar. There is plenty of other areas to camp clear of large trees. Extremely quiet spot, saw 2 boats in 11 days. Heaps of firewood available and the fishing was great. Very steep slope down to the river atm as the river level is low. Tooleybuc pub is awesome and does great meals. Will be back
