Just perfect

Seldomly you come accross a place that you can feel this comfortable at Rondel River Reserve ticked all the boxes for us and we were able to have a great relaxing time We stayed on the grassy site and seemed to have the river almost to ourselves and the hosts could not do anymore for us Will definitely return

A mighty part of the Murray

Fantastic spot. Very private and quiet. A bit of road noise but it doesn’t detract from the setting. Jason a fantastic host. Great communication. Great bike track into town 7 clicks away. Hopefully not many proteas this review and we can get another booking soon.

Absolutely loved our stay! We spent a week off-grid and couldn’t have asked for a better spot. Gorgeous riverside campsites and a perfect base for exploring the nearby towns. The owner was lovely and even brought us fresh mandarins from his tree. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway near Mildura!

Peaceful Stay at Rondel

We had a relaxing stay at Rondel River Reserve—a peaceful, bushland property that backs onto the river with an island out the front. The area offers plenty of opportunities for kayaking and fishing. What made the stay memorable was the hospitality of the host, Jason. Jason went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, generously lending us two kayaks. We had a bit of rain before arriving and were concerned about getting bogged, but Jason made sure we went to a more suitable campsite. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking to unwind in nature. We’ll definitely be back!

We had a lovely stay very nice spot peaceful and private. Jason was a great host and cut up wood for a fire to last the extent of our stay.

Quiet rivers edge

Site 3 - Rondel River Reserve

Perfect spot right on the rivers edge. So lovely to be away from the crowds at Easter and feel like we were in our own little quiet world. Jason was great, excellent local knowledge, provided wood, offered us use of his gear, a very generous host. Close enough to Mildura (20 minutes or so) while feeling nice a spacious. Definitely hope to return.

Private space beside the river was very scenic and peaceful at night. A few boats during the day adds interest. This site has an island out front so the boats are a good distance from shore.

The farm and location were great. Unfortunately I found the farmer to be quite bristly which was a little stressful to say the least. I would love to leave a good review but I can’t with good conscience.

We loved camping along the river, it was the perfect spot for us to unwind with privacy. We had our tinny with us which we launched straight from our campsite. We easily got our 21.6ft caravan down to the lovely peaceful campsite. Had some possum and sheep visitors which was lovely.

Camping, kayaks, and relaxation!!

Absolutely beautiful spot. Very private, very relaxing and Jason was a great guy and made sure we had everything we needed before leaving us alone. Kayaks are a must and super cheap to hire. The porta-loo was really handy for the kids also. We had a great few days, saw plenty of wildlife and really enjoys sitting around the campfire. We will be back soon !!!
