Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Site 4 is a level drive through site for minimum effort maximum pleasure. Very suitable for those who are towing a caravan/camper/boat/trailer. Simply follow the self explanatory signage and you’ll be set up with a nice cold refreshment or fishing rod in your hand in no time. Fire pit and wood chopping block for your enjoyment/convenience.

Glenn & Zoe’s Riverside Rest is the perfect property to spend quality time along side the pristine Clarence River, it’s closeness to Yamba made it ideal for exploring in and around the area as well, accessing the property was easy with clear directions allowing for trouble free navigation to the 4 campsites, also well signed, our site 4 was very clean & level, being manicured to a very high standard, Zoe checked in with us making sure everything was in order also offering valuable local knowledge of the area, we certainly recommend Riverside Rest & will be back in the future,

Beautifully manicured site right on the banks of the river. It’s very close to the driveway, with limited space between sites, so there’s not much privacy — especially if you’re in a rooftop tent. It may suit caravans better, as you can tuck in a bit more and get some shelter from the wind and nearby neighbours. Not my personal preferred style of camping.

Stunning riverfront camp. Second visit here and will be back again. Lots of wildlife and the river is an awesome way to wake up. Only 4 sites so very spread out. 5 stars!

Beautiful spot, perfect drive through site could not of asked for better. Right next to the river, great spot for fishing. A very well kept and peaceful location. The local cows are very friendly too :) We will definitely be coming back thank you for having us Dan, Jaime & Billy

Stayed for one night on our way back home from holiday. Really enjoyed the spot, especially the fishing, wish we had another day or two there. My son caught a nice flathead from the jetty on lure. I got spooled on my little bream rod with 6lb leader something massive taking my prawn bait and I couldn’t stop it. Later the night we caught a few catfish on bait which was fun, and a small stingray as well. My son got broken off by something big too, possibly a big stingray.

Great access to the river and a wonderful amount of natural wildlife. We could hear fish splashing in the river all night and were woken to the sounds of birds. Lovely

Amazing site and so well maintained. Fire pits at each site. Great for fishing our little girl caught her first two bream. Very short drive into town too. Easy access to get into the water

Beautiful view to wake up to with the glistening water. Loved how much space we had, sites are very well signed, and very well maintained. Perfect spot to watch the sunset and relax.

We couldn’t believe the location! Right on the banks of the Clarence River. Cows in the paddock behind us & the beautiful water directly in front! Dogs off leash and the hosts were wonderful. Best HipCamp ever and we’ve been to a few since joining in 2018!

Lovely flat sites (only 4 available) and plenty of space between. Right on the Clarence River (tidal). There were friendly cows (love eating bread), kangaroos, & pelicans. Lovely and quiet. Short 15 minutes easy drive into town.
