Sorry for any inconvenience – we really appreciate your understanding. We’ll be back soon and can’t wait to welcome you another time! Our 40 acre property is home to four quiet, secure, exclusive river front sites on the mighty Clarence River. Boating, fishing and crabbing literally at your doorstep. And it's just a 15 minute drive into the towns of Yamba and Maclean. To ensure all our guests have a comfortable and spacious experience, each campsite is designated for one camp set up only (eg one caravan or camper trailer or tent) This allows us to maintain a relaxed and enjoyable atmosphere with plenty of space between sites. The campsites are situated right on the bank of the mighty Clarence River, perfectly suited for campers who enjoy the peace and quiet. Please note: Our sites are available for booking up to 3 months in advance. Our property is inhabited by a few cattle and kangaroos and on occasions a couple of visiting brolgas. The private boat ramp is accessible at the main house which is about 100 metres from your campsite. You are welcome to make use of our canoe or kayak which are kept up at the main house. Pets are welcome but must be kept under control. Campfires are allowed permitting there are no restrictions in place. Each campsite has it's own firepit surround in which to light your camp fire. Firewood is available for purchase. Campers must bring their own toilet and be fully self sufficient. Leave the site as you found it and take all waste with you on departure. The campsite is accessible by 2WD and can accommodate caravans, campervans and camper trailers. The sites are generally level and grassy.

Site 4 is a level drive through site for minimum effort maximum pleasure. Very suitable for those who are towing a caravan/camper/boat/trailer. Simply follow the self explanatory signage and you’ll be set up with a nice cold refreshment or fishing rod in your hand in no time. Fire pit and wood chopping block for your enjoyment/convenience.

Absolutely loved staying at Riverside rest. What a beautiful spot to spend some time relaxing and catching fish. Yamba is just down the road if you need anything. Will definitely be back again. The sites are a great size and enough space between them. Glen and Zoe have done a great job. Highly recommend.

Great location on the river and close to town if you wanted to explore. The 4 sites were well spread out and well maintained. We would definitely stay here again

We love the peace and quiet and not many campers. Easy access to the water for the kayaks as well. No light pollution so star and satellite viewing is great. Also love seeing the kangaroos and birdlife. One of our favourite places.

We really enjoyed our time at Riverside rest. Beautiful property and Zoe made sure we were ok as the first day was extremely windy. Site’s are on the water and waking up to the sun rising over the river was amazing. We would love to return next year. Thank you Zoe and Glen.

Site 4 is a great place to stay with a caravan as the drive through access is perfect for larger sized caravans and tow vehicles. A nice flat level area very close to the water. We enjoyed watching dolphins playing, fish feeding, sting ray feeding, kookaburras all near the shoreline in front of our camp. Beautifully maintained grassy site. Lovely hosts. Sites are well spaced. 10/10

Such a great spot, we changed our travel plans and re-booked another stay. Great location, beautifully maintained, well spaced sites right on the water, nice and flat. Very quiet and peaceful. Hosts are lovely and great with communication. Great value.

This is a perfect Hipcamp !! It has spacious well maintained sites with fire pits. All the sites are waterfront with easy access to the river if you like Kayaking or fishing. We would love to stay again when next passing through the area.

Weather was real average but the location was fantastic. A little bit expensive but this mis area seems to be dearer than a lot of other areas we’ve stayed at.

Highly recommend. Well looked after by Glenn and Zoe so campers such as us have a great experience. Excellent location and lots to do if you want or just chill by the river. Our 3 dogs enjoyed it also.

We had an amazing 2 night stay, the sites are very spacious, it feels like you have the whole place to ourselves. Love the wildlife that came to visit us each morning and evening, the grounds were beautifully kept. Nice and close to the local town of Yamba with shops and the beach. We will diffidently be back 😌

Rocked up with our swag on a windy day, host was so lovely and found us another spot out of the wind. Super grateful for their kind hospitality. The river, the property and the wildlife around is stunning. Really enjoyed our night there.

Glenn and Zoe are amazing hosts and so accommodating. All sites are a fantastic space which will not disappoint - how could they with views out onto the water and (if you’re lucky) dolphins swimming past. We will be back for sure - I still need to catch a fish from the jetty!

Fantastic spot. Easy access to the water with kayak and can fish from site 4. Our kids loved also fishing from jetty. Just be careful there are some oysters around so would recommend water shoes. Very peaceful spot and amazing watching the sun come up over the water. Highly recommend. Site 4 you can drive through the site so no need to worry about reversing into the site and its nice and flat. It looks to be the biggest site out of them. Definitely on our list to return. Only down side was the wind that would hit after lunch till dinner which is out of the owners hands but just make sure to pack extra tie downs just in case. Definitely can see why this place is so popular and would recommend staying here. Would have stayed longer if we could have. Everyone was very respectful and its nice and quiet with everyone spread out. Close to yamba to go in if supplies are needed or to explore the town. We took our 2 dogs and they also had a ball. Host were great to deal with and really fast with replying to any questions. Loved our October long weekend adventure here.
