I would recommend Long Flat
It is quiet and peaceful and a great place for anyone
The local pub has a great meal and the staff are all amazing.
There is also a general store for basic day to day items plus a takeaway. All walking distance
We decided to stay longer and will not hesitate to come back
We camped for 2 nights and loved every minute of our stay here. I think we nabbed the best spot in the campgrouns, you'll need 4wd to get into it over the rocks, with water views and easy access to the most perfect swimming hole. We spent the days kayaking, fishing (caught a decent bass), swimming, damming (kids made dams with the rocks), listening to the awesome tunes coming from the pub, beers at the pub, winning meat raffles at the pub and watching the local platypus in the early hours of the morning. Plenty of 'this has to be the best campsite ever' thrown around. Can't wait to come back!

Excellent pub, excellent spot by the river. Absolutely beautiful. Drop toilet was manageable but quite far from the camp. Will travel there again as it was magic.

Camp was nice, the area we setup in unfortunately had a lot of broken glass around the firepit, sites could use a spot clean from time to time.
Not any fault of the site but we had a bit of a rough night sleep with some deciding to keep the camp up till 3am with music blaring and some pretty constant foul language.
Aside from being unlucky with the other guests, the place is a great spot to camp by the river, its convenient with pub and the shop nearby for breakfast.
Awesome camp spot. Beautiful river. Plenty of spaces. Pub staff were great. Highly recommend.

This campsite was wonderful!! It had the most amazing views along with very friendly staff. The food was delicious and me and my friends had the best time. Definitely will be returning😊

The river was beautiful!!! Though if you want to set up tent by the river then you have to be in the rocky area so it was better for us to be on the grassy area a bit further away. There were little paths that lead right to the water so it didn’t really affect us too much. The staff and locals were so friendly! Would defs come back ☺️

Absolutely wonderful place to stay, the views were stunning and the river was beautiful and clear. Would highly recommend it as a great destination for families to escape the normal day to day rat race, but be prepared for no showers as the pub hasn’t had their ammenities upgraded yet but none the less 10/10 beautiful place to stay

Long Flat was a great place to spend the weekend. We loved the easy access to the river for fishing and swimming. Live music from the pub was awesome, as was the food and atmosphere
Long flat pub is amazing camp grounds too over crowded it was fine when free. We always frequented the pub and local store. Now we have to pay and still frequent pub and store we expected it to be less crowded. Not in a rush to go back sorry
Very accommodating as i couldn’t make it there and reserved my spot and can’t wait to go,very friendly and definitely highly recommend

A magnificent place to camp. Also really handy to have the pub and bistro on site.
Some great entertainment was enjoyed in the beer garden.
Kaylee, the General Manager/Licensee, is an absolute champion and was very hospitable.
We’ll definitely be back!

Great spot to pull up the caravan for the long weekend. We had a bite to eat up at the pub, took the kids down to explore the river and enjoyed the large open spaces. We were able to take our dog and have a fire.

Lovely spot to camp for a few days. And the pub was an added bonus. We will be back!
Plenty of room and common vibes. There over the Anzac Day weekend and really enjoyed the area with kayaking, walks and the pub so close by.
Great area for kids to ride bikes safely a hill where kids were sliding down on cardboard.

Welcoming pub easily accessible from the campground. Great food and service at the pub. Top camp paddock was level and convenient. Dog friendly campground and outdoor beer garden at the pub. Loved being able to have our fur best friend with us the whole time.
Long Flat camping ground is gorgeous long stretch of grassy area with a great outlook. It has a stunning swimming hole. We parked all the way at the end and our spot was very private. Toilet facilities at the pub above it were great but the shower was a little dodgy. The pub was great fun well visited by travellers and locals. We had a great 2 day stay.
