We have a stunning 640 acre cattle farm nestled in the hills of the Northern Tablelands, overlooking the Wellingrove Valley. Redbank has many beautiful places and things to see, including two natural gullies full of native birds and wildlife, native woodlands, four beautiful dams and wild fallow deer. Redbank also has about 140ha set aside under Biodiversity Conservation Trust. This is a "no drive" area but always open to walking. There is a map available to show where everything on the property is located. Redbank features diverse terrain, from secluded forests and woodlands to open undulating paddocks with excellent views and sunsets. A campfire is allowed, however it needs to be kept at a reasonable size, especially during fire restriction periods. Please keep the fire within the allocated fireplace provided. At times we provide guests with firewood when we are able, but they are permitted to use nearby timber collected themselves. We have multiple campsites available, however we realise that you may want to be independent and camp in a unique place! We understand this, however we will direct you to a spot which best suits the campers' and their vehicle type, as some of our tracks are 4x4 only. We limit numbers of groups to the number of campsites available. In this way, we protect the environment and wildlife. We will be here to help you decide on the best campsite on arrival. There is some access to water (not necessarily drinking), but you will need to bring your own shower. There are no rubbish facilities or showers and limited access to toilet facilities. Pets are welcome but must be kept under your control at all times as we have cattle on the property. We have a friendly Maremma guardian dog who can turn up unannounced. Perfect place to stay overnight!! Had 360 degree views of a stunning sunset, had firewood collected for us and cows came over to say hi. Highly recommend.

What a View!

We made a last-minute booking for one night at Redbank and arrived right on dusk to a stunning red sky, such a beautiful welcome! Tom and Lucy were incredibly warm and welcoming. The campsite was perched on top of a hill with breathtaking 360-degree views. We were lucky with perfect autumn weather, we got to enjoy clear skies and no wind at all. Tom came to greet us at the site and had a friendly chat, then gave us a map to explore the property the next morning. We loved wandering through and meeting the cows! The campsite itself was a lovely grassy spot under the trees with plenty of firewood for a cosy night by the fire and a brisk morning. We highly recommend Redbank, such a peaceful and scenic place, and wonderful hosts.

Beautiful property. We loved having a nice, quiet patch to ourselves and the sunsets were simply stunning. Directions were easy and Tom was a lovely host.

How camping should be!

Redbank Farm is an amazing rural farm with camping as it should be. Very private, quiet, spacious with lots of nature, animals and bird life. Plenty of local deers, kangaroos, sheep and parrots. We stayed over the Easter long weekend and it was super quiet with hardly anyone else around. The sites are extremely well spaced. Cool nights and warm days and plenty of firewood for a good camp cook up. Tom the property owner and host is absolutely lovely and very accommodating, kind and genuine. I would highly recommend this spot if you're into proper camping. The area is very beautiful with plenty on offer to explore.

What a great place to just unwind and enjoy the serenity of off grid camping. Tom the host was there to welcome and had cut firewood for our arrival. If you just want to get away from the crowds, this place is it.

The farm is well spaced out and the location I received was at the top of the hill with fantastic views of the area. Tom was an absolute legend and very accommodating. Would recommend and will be back.

Tom was a wonderful host, meeting us at the gate and escorting us to our campsite. Wildlife & bird life aplenty, with beautiful views and exquisite sunsets. The firewood supplied was great as it got quite cool in the afternoon & night.

Tom and Lucy are the real deal. From the moment you arrive they are incredibly welcoming and friendly to talk to, leaving you like you have known them for years. With multiple sites and a drive around their property, Tom helped me pick a perfect location with complete serenity at the top of the hill. I would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

We enjoyed camping on Tom’s property, he provided us with a hillside location with captivating views of rolling hills, nearby ranges. Being spring the lambs and calves were in abundance, giving us added bonus watching them frolic in their paddocks. Tom was a great host, the direction instructions were easy to follow and he met us at the homestead gate.

Quiet and peaceful location on top of a grassy hill with surrounding trees in the middle of a farm. Lovely views of surrounding area and amazing sunsets. Lots of walks or relaxing in camp by the open fire. Friendly host.

Tom was an absolutely wonderful host! So welcoming and helpful. Tom, your land is absolutely beautiful! Pixie and I loved waking up with a great view, surrounded by trees and with the cows in the distance! Thank you so much for everything. I will absolutely recommend your place and I’m sure I’ll be back on day too.

Redbank is a beautiful place to kick back and relax for some downtime.Very quiet and secluded with gorgeous sunsets and views. Property is close to Glen Innes so ample opportunity to also take in the local sites.

What a beautiful, peaceful property to camp on with amazing views to the west and the nearby conservation area was nice ti walk through. The sunsets were amazing, the nightsky was truly spectacular and Tom was such a friendly, welcoming landowner. His terrier Jules was equally friendly too. His property is within a couple of hours drive to Girraween, Gibraltar, Boonee Boonee, Washpool and Sundown National parks, which are great hiking areas, so we can't wait to come back and stay on Tom's property again soon.

The site we camped on was great, away from others and had an amazing view. We weren't far from town (about 20 mins) and Tom was a great host. If we are back down the way, we will definitely stay again. Thanks Tom.

We loved camping at Redbank, Tom and his wife were lovely and their land is beautiful. Lots of friendly farm animals and peaceful camp areas. Great value for money and would definitely stay there again.

Lovely couple who are both extremely friendly and welcoming. We fell in love with their dog too, who made sure we were settled in for the night before he walked back home. Highly recommend this beautiful spot. So lovely. Wish we’d booked a longer stay. Next time I guess.

We had the area on a high point on the property and it was so quiet.Tom was very helpful with information about the farm lots of wildlife which was great I managed to take some photos of the full moon thanks again tom

Absolutely gorgeous spot to wake up to in the morning, got to meet the locals who greeted us with such joy and adorable curiousity. Tom was super accommodating and would highly recommend spending a night or 5 under the stars warming up next to the fire.

Nice property and Tom's a good bloke , sorted us out by moving us to another sheltered campsite (the hut which is normally reserved for family but Tom made an exception this weekend which was awesome) due to the incessant wind we had this Friday night and Saturday . Would stay again for sure . Close to Emmaville(nice little town with a solid country pub )and Glen innes

Super helpful and friendly host. Lovely property with camp sites set up so you wouldn’t know anyone else was there. Dry firewood and great camp fire set up. We were able to swap days when weather was the best for camping. Loved it!
