Nestled under the Watagan mountains escarpment in the Hunter valley, the property has some amazing views in all directions, but still remains secluded and hidden from view. The property has been selectively cleared to maintain a balance of open land and untouched bushland which has a boundary to the Watagans National Park. The animal life is very diverse as many species transition from the Watagans into the property and many live on site full time. These include flocks of amazing bird species such as Gang gang and Black Cockatoos, resident Wedge tailed eagles, Kookaburras, finches, honey eaters, Coucals, Lyrebirds and more. Wallabies of various types are common, and Sugar gliders can be seen on the flowering Eucalypts. The camping areas for RV's sit on a large elevated flat area that border a large gorge with broken views towards the Hunter Valley vineyards. The Gorge (or Canyon) is rimmed by caves and has rainforest type trees in the bottom. The caves can be explored and the rainforest can be walked if you are fit! The tent and camper trailer areas are terraced into an area of slight slope with a number of sites to chose from. Non potable water taps are available at each caravan site and at intervals in the camping area. This water is clear fresh dam or bore water and can be used for showers, washing up etc. Two flush toilets are available for use by both RV's and campers. There is a central fire pit. We have a private site which has open views over the Hunter Valley to the Vineyards and beyond to the Barrington tops. This site has a cliff edge pool that comfortably fits up to 4 people for a dip. This area has a large fire pit that can be used to heat the pool in winter. This site has its own flushing toilet and Shower. This site is best suited to a caravan as it is terraced, though it would be possible to setup tents or a camper van in this location also. This can also be booked as a group site. 16minutes to Cessnock, 25minutes to the M1, 2.25 hours to Sydney central and 25 minutes to Pokolbin. The location is generally very peaceful with all sorts of wildlife. There is plenty of ground sticks for fire wood and bulk timber for purchase.

Canyon view has magic views across the lower Hunter valley towards the Vineyards, Broken back range and Barrington tops beyond. The site is bordered by trees on each side and is about 250m from the main camping area. There is a main terrace cut for the purpose of parking a single RV with a private amenity adjacent with full flush toilet and amazing hot shower. It is best suited to caravans/ RV's but can be used by tents also. Please note the terrace has a gravel surface but could be penetrated by pegs. There is a PRIVATE cliff edge pool that can be filled for a cool dip in summer or heated with the fire pit for a warm cliff edge bath in Winter. There is a smaller terrace near the fire pit and pool to set up table and chairs or picnic etc. The Canyon not only provides ever changing views but also connects you with amazing wildlife. If you are lucky you will get the full musical ensemble of the resident Lyrebird. This site has been designed for a single RV in close proximity to the cliff and views, however there is 1.5 acres of area behind this main site that is suitable for extra camping. The area, about 75m up the slope from the amenities is flat and grassy and could fit a number of vans or tents ( 5 vans / 10+ tents) There are no dedicated water taps in this location. If this entire area was desired to be booked as a group site with the use of Canyon view amenities, You Need to book the Canyon view Add on sites. The main terrace has non potable water tap on location, (clean clear dam or bore water). The main terrace area has some shade, but is mainly in the sun for good solar charging on caravan roofs. This site could be suited to couples or families alike, but there is an extensive cliff edge that runs a few hundred meters around the rim of the canyon, so caution must be exercised with young children or intoxicated persons. The fire pool is available to paying guests at this site only, but it is locked from use until instructions have been provided on how to safely use it. Timber can be ordered and delivered to site or you are welcome to BYO clean timber. We request that all resource used (water, hotwater) is consumed respectfully and not wastefully. Please note, that all rubbish is to be taken from site at departure. There are no bins provided.

A great place to tent camp or van stay. Good toilet facilities with handwashing facilities. Camp sites were a good size & well marked with good signage & directions to find the camping area & Charly checked in on arrival to make sure everything was ok. A beautiful shady & quiet spot to spend a few days & so good to be able to have my dog welcome.

Loved the private canyon view campsite. Very dog friendly my golden retriever loved being able to stretch his legs and because it was hot he trotted up the hill to the dam a few times before I put water in the pool and let him use that as a paddle pool instead. The toilet and shower block is glamping magic. We didn't do the canyon walk as not suitable for dogs but we went for a walk along edge which was scenic. The main reason you book is the wood fire hot tub which I spent hours in on Saturday night. It takes about 2-2.5hrs to fill and heat so plan ahead early and enjoy the stars! Phone reception was good for the stay and when my partner absolutely had to watch the cricket it was only 20 mins drive to a pub so not a bad backup if the rain was too heavy to cook. I will add though that the toilet shower block has a covered deck so if you needed to cook in the rain that should work.

What an absolutely fantastic location! The view is amazing! The amenities are simple yet clean and functional. Will definitely return, although will do it in cooler months as if there’s a fireban the hot tub can’t be heated. The one full day we had available we were unlucky in that there was a fireban! So peaceful. Felt like we had the place to ourselves!

Just 2 hours from Sydney is this wonderful private property that Damien and Charly have poured a lot of love into. The private facilities, loo and shower with views are fantastic and really add a touch of luxury to your trip. Then there's the private heated pool! Perched on the side of a cliff, with stunning views out over the valley below is a small concrete pool heated by a stainless steel coil in a woodfire. It's a first class Hipcamp and I highly recommend it. Don't forget the Hunter Valley wineries sre just around the corner too.

We had an amazing time at Damien and Carly's beautiful property. The amenities were immaculate and the kids loved playing in the fire spa pool. We got our 23ft caravan up with easily and had ample space to reverse it into the designated area. Highly recommend this HipCamp.

We were in the unallocated camping area. It was perfect for us. Plenty of room for our set up also had shade. Fire pits and flushing clean toilets were a bonus!

Great place to stay was busy on the long weekend but everyone was quiet and respectful Sites are huge and our site and many others had a private fire pit and dam water from a tap if required True bush setting half an hour from many attractions Charly was great checking in daily and always available if needed Can’t recommend enough

We loved Charly’s place. Pretty much had the whole property to ourselves. The toilets are a cut above the rest, the best we’ve seen. The Hunter valley was only 30 mins away so we popped out for lunch too. Charly was helpful and made sure we were ok each day. We’d love to come back with friends and hire out the hot tub area.

Charly was an excellent host & very accommodating & helpful with our booking requirements. Our group all enjoyed our stay and loved the walk. Would thoroughly recommend to anybody that loves bush camping. Our group will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Quoragami was absolute perfection! Breathtaking views, bonus of clean and comfortable amenities (the shower was awesome) and we had such a lovely time relaxing in the fire pit hot tub! Damien and Charly have really put their hearts into making this space a beautiful and peaceful place to be. The directions to the site made getting there so easy and the campsite access is well sign posted. They really have thought of everything and we had a wonderful time.

We absolutely loved our stay on Damien & Charly’s land. The campsite was very private with incredible views, and the fire pit by the pool was such a bonus! Spotted little kangaroos were hopping around the property, which was very sweet. The location was perfect — close enough to the Hunter Valley to enjoy the wineries. The hot shower and flushing toilet were pure luxury for camping! The only surprise was that a family wandered directly onto our site while I was showering (with the door open, enjoying the view)— it definitely caught me off guard, but I’m sure it wasn’t intentional. Maybe a small sign or marker could help keep the boundaries clear. Overall, an amazing experience and one that’ll be hard to beat!
