Nomadic camping
Best for self-contained campers. There are no toilets, showers, or potable water at this Hipcamp.
Our campsite are situated on the banks of the mighty Murray, Euston NSW! Both Euston and Robinvale being a few minutes drive away! scattered along absolute river frontage! your campsite will be away from other campers so you have room to move, but are big enough for you to be able to share the same site with those traveling with you! Our property is fenced and gated giving you that little bit extra security! Entry is via combination lock, the code will be sent to you the day before arrival! If you have selected firewood and your booking is booked a few hours in advance we can drop your firewood off so it is ready for you when you arrive! If you are already on site or arriving shortly we will drop if off as soon as possible! Our campsite are a short stroll over the bridge to Robinvale or you can follow the walking track into Euston! If your bring your boat with you there is a boat ramp just across the river in Robinvale, there is also one in front of the Euston Club We are on both Facebook- facebook.com/philsbend and Instagram- philsbendlove looking at your photos so please tag us All our sites are set up just like an old woodcutter would have set up their camp back in the day, this include a wooden bench, wooden log chair and a fireplace. All our sites have river frontage and are a nice clean place for you to enjoy! -Now for all the boring but important information- *We do not offer toilets and showers so you will need to be fully self-sufficient *We strive to keep our campsites free from rubbish so we ask that you please take your rubbish with you when you leave. *We do allow your furry friends to come along but they will need to on a leash and please clean up after them *Preferred sites are subject to availability * We do not allow motorbikes * We are trying to grow back what has been lost over the years before we got the property so please stay on main roads. * When our property floods the branches and logs that lay on the ground provide the breading grounds for our native fish, for this reason we do NOT allow chainsaws. If require wood please add it to your booking * ENTRY IS AT OWN RISK! THE PROPERTY OWNERS ARE NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSS TO PERSONAL PROPERTY OR VEHICLES. My wife and I stayed at phils bend it is a great set up. Very relaxed and beautiful camp grounds. And Lena was wonderful coming and warning us of a potential storm maybe coming through to check that we were safe. I would highly rate phils bend and will definitely be back 🙂

This is our second time at Phil’s Bend. It so private with spectacular scenery up and down the Murray. The occasional paddle steamers passes along with some houseboats and boats. If you want pristine conditions this probably isn’t for you but if you want time out in a very peaceful setting it magic. We have two dogs with us and the have enjoyed it as well.

Loved our time here, just magical. Originally booked for 1 night but as soon as we had set up the van, we extended for an extra night. We had site 1, saw a platypus the first night, and we weren’t even looking for any. We will definitely recommend this camp to friends and we will be back for sure.

Great spot testing out our new off grid gear. Bush but close to amenities with clean public shower in Robinvale. Highly recommended. Thanks also for the great initiative on Cup Day.

Such a great spot on the river. Hadn't been back for two years and kicking ourselves, as this trip reminded us what we were missing. We stayed in campste 5 this time around, has a bit of shade which was nice on the hot day we had. Great for the birdwatching, also some monitor lizards getting around.

Beautiful spot on the river. Close enough to town for convenience but far enough out to be in the bush. Wonderful hosts, clean and spacious camping. Highly recommend.

A lovely spot to stay. As I am new to solo camping, I felt secure and safe. I also enjoyed great privacy and the other camp sites are far away from each other that we were unaware of each other. Will definitely return.

Phil’s bend is just a most beautiful place on the Murray River. Very peaceful and quiet. Great communication with the host, firewood available and a perfect spot to unwind. Just stunning!

Quiet camping with stunning views

We had a fantastic five-night stay at campsite #1 at Phil’s Bend. I’ll admit, camping in June felt a bit ambitious—but aside from two rainy nights, the days were clear and lovely. The campsites are well spaced and feel private, which made for a really peaceful stay. There were a couple of other groups there at the same time, but we didn’t hear a thing. We brought our 10-year-old dog along, and it was great not having to worry about him getting too close to other campers. The property feels really secure, so we were comfortable leaving everything at camp when we went exploring during the day. The landscape is absolutely stunning—this is such a beautiful part of the world. The only small thing to note is some traffic noise, likely from the Sturt Highway, but it didn’t take away too much from the overall beauty of Phil's Bend.

Such a great spot right by the river, with full privacy for each site. Flat plots and dedicated fire pit area. What more could you ask for?’ Fantastic sunset and sunrise experience with a family of kookaburras visiting this morning. Quite magnificent.

Great communication and directions. We loved this camp right on the Murray. Very private and great fire pit with wood delivered to our site. Rode our bikes into Swan Hill - lovely little town awesome Vietnamese grocery store. Highly recommend

We love camping at Phil's Bend. This is our second time visiting and it was fantastic. Beautiful river front camping with a fire is so relaxing. Very easy instructions on how to get there.

This was our second visit. The remoteness was again wonderful. Quiet and with time to distress. There’s plenty to do in the local community. Will again visit for sure. Can highly recommend recommend to those seeking solace and peace. Thank you.

We loved the location and our site (10) had a sandy bank which made for easy accessto the water. Plenty of camps within sight but still had Privacy. Robinvale township has a real friendly multicultural vibe about it with everything you need.

This was a great place to stay, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Stayed for 3 nights with our 2 dogs. Communication before we stayed was great, instructions were very clear, the site was easy to find, there was heaps of room for our caravan (drive through, but plenty of space to park in any direction you like). We ordered firewood which was there before we arrived and a huge bag for the price. We were able to kayak, fish, swim and relax. Sunsets were amazing. Only a couple of minutes to Robinvale, which was a great variety of stores, including an excellent supermarket. Definitely recommend this.
