A great place to camp, beautiful views , very peaceful and great hosts. Being able to spend time with the ponies and goats was a highlight for our visitors daughter.

Peppers Farmstay What an incredible location! 🌿🐄 1000% recommended! For day one of our trip, we stopped at this amazing farm stay in NSW, just out of Tathra and wow, it did not disappoint! Not only were the views absolutely stunning, but the property itself had so much to offer. From the friendliest cows you’ll ever meet to their very own river with a boat ramp, it’s a little slice of paradise. There’s plenty of open space for the kids (and adults!) to run around and, yes, it’s dog-friendly too! our fur babies were in heaven! 🐶For the kids:One of the highlights was the farm animal feeding. My daughter had the biggest smile on her face as she fed the animals! definitely a core memory made! 🥰If the weather had been on our side, we would have spent the evening by the cozy fireplaces located at every site, but the rain had other plans. Even so, it didn’t take away from the experience one bit.If you’re looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful scenery, space to breathe, and plenty to keep the kids (and dogs!) entertained, I cannot recommend this place enough. We’ll definitely be back!

Great location for a coastal visit to Tathra and nearby, stayed for 3 nights. Camp sites along a ridge with fire pits (byo wood but plenty of sticks to collect as starters) spaced about 20mtrs from each other with easy drive in access. For those who need it, there a couple of clean porta-loos, bins for rubbish and recycling, and town water is available near the sites which are bonuses. Good communication with Roanna and Ben. There is a walk down to the river, but we didn’t make it with the weather - next time.

Roanna and Ben's property was a fabulous short stay. The kids loved being able to pet and groom the horses and see the cows and goats. The property itself was beautiful with a short walk to the river which was very peaceful and scenic. Tathra beach was also a great stop which was less than a 10min drive. The site had good toilet facilities and easily accessible tap water to use. Would definitely recommend this place to stay.

The view was no short of spectacular. Surrounded by absolute serentity in a very well groomed camping area, so private that we only had 2 friendly neighbours. We were greeted on arrival, given advice and purchased some declicous farm fresh eggs and firewood. Every detail was thought of, illuminated water taps at night, clean toilet and fire pit ready to go. I couldn't recommend this place more highly, it was the perfect get away for 3 adults and 2 kids. Close to town and any supplies you might need. The friendliest Hip camp hosts ever :)

Pepper’s Farmstay is a wonderful location for camping as a couple or a large family as we did. Roanna and Jaimie are very friendly and made sure our stay was a great one.
Access to the river is good and being pet friendly was a great touch.
We would definitely recommend staying at Pepper’s Farmstay to anyone looking for a great, quiet and safe place to camp along the far south coast.

Beyond amazing! Ben greeted me on arrival and instantly made me feel so very welcomed, he even took me in to pet and feed the cows!
The property is just breathtaking, surrounded by hills and valleys of bushland and a stunning river running by.
Camp site was equally as great, privacy away from the main residence, tap with drinkable water, a toilet, and one of the best sunsets and sunrises I’ve seen!
Cannot wait to go back!

My wife and I rented out the A-van for a week for our honeymoon and we loved it so much. Ben was so kind to give us firewood each day and let us use his kayak. It is a beautiful area with plenty of birdlife, some kangaroos. The farm animals were lovely and Ben let us comb the horses which my wife loved. A big and massive thank you to Ben and Rhoanna.

Didn't get the chance to meet Roanna in person but she gave me all the information I needed prior to our stay and her partner (I'm assuming) Zach was lovely. He stocked us up with firewood and even took time out to have a nice chat to us. We were lucky enough to meet there pup Pedro who was also a sweetie.

Tent camping was great with lovely views and firepit provided. Toilets and water were clean and accessible. Would recommend. We unfortunately had guests at the next campsite playing music through speakers which definitely was disappointing and disruption. Roanna and their partner were really lovely, helpful and friendly.

We had a great time, the campsite is beautiful with a great view. Our host Ben did everything he could to make our stay enjoyable. The campsite is on a slope, but we were comfortable in our tents. It’s a great location halfway between Bega and Tathra. Plenty of hiking, fishing and mountain biking nearby

Spent 10 days at Peppers with another family - we're fully relaxed!
Thanks to hosts Ben & Roanna, who we know had their hands full after the river and surrounding area flooded. We needed to be moved from the River to the hill/Olive Tree - so yes, at peak holiday period, it was a little cramped, but within a few days, it all died down - for the last 4 days, we had the place to ourselves. Because of the orientation, you don't see others.
In hindsight, the hill was probably better given the amazing views, changeable weather and fewer mozzies, and it made the daily splash, float & wash in the Bega River more fun.
The location is perfect for trips to Tathra (or a 'healthy' 6km cycle path with a little bit of road), Merimbula/Pambula (hello Oysters!), Bega, Brogo Dam, Bermagui via the coast road, Tilba, etc, etc. Or laze and see/feed the animals, which the kids loved. Fires are permitted and wood is available ($20).
Things to be aware of:
* Bring your own shower or wash in the river
* Some may struggle with some sites on the hill not being totally level - can be a little hair-raising. There are plans to level/enlarge in future
* Generators: It is not the host's fault, but some people have little consideration, which detracts from the peace and quiet. Perhaps a permitted period in the middle of the day would be a fair balance
* Toilets - they are portaloos, but were clean
* Of note, for regulations, if camped down at the River, you need to be 30 metres back from the bank

We really enjoyed our stay here, spent most our days at the river fishing and such a lovely spot to spend our time! We camped on the valley view area, lovely views! Water taps and looked after toliets onsite as well!

Hosts were lovely. Kids loved helping brush horses at end of the day. Some sites aren’t very flat and l not the best for caravans but host very flexible and let us choose the flattest spot.

We loved our 3 nights in the Valley View 2 site. Was great to sit out at night with a fire. The kids enjoyed the animal (calf, horses, chooks) feeding at 5pm. Was a little tricky to get the van level but we got there!

The spot is an excellent spot with views overlooking the Bega river! Facilities were as noted in post with fresh water and clean toilet facility and spots for fires! Loved that it was dog friendly with neighbouring campsites having some friendly fury pals!
The location was absolutely amazing with local beaches not far!

We liked the location and the hosts but the site was on a slope which made it difficult to set up satisfactorily and also very crowded. We understand this was due to recent floods but this still impacted our experience. Porta loos also felt like they might roll down the hill.
