This is a real hidden gem! The pond was beautiful to swim in and a great place to camp next to. Tim was very accommodating and it really made the stay perfect. I will definitely be back soon!

Such a beautiful, secluded spot! The area was so well maintained and you can tell Tim really cares for the land. He was the perfect host, always ensuring we were looked after but also conscious of being overly involved (which he NEVER was by the way).
There was so much wildlife to enjoy - we really did have the best time!

We booked a few nights as a city break from Sydney. Super quiet, lots of wildlife and Tim was really friendly / welcoming. Would recommend this place to stay.

This campsite was great! We had some unfortunate weather but the hosts were nothing but accommodating and lovely. They were so kind to our nervous doggies and very sweet. They also allowed us to bring our horse to stay so we could go to the Dungog rodeo on Easter Saturday.
Would 100% stay here again.

Vicki was very lovely and welcoming to us, the site felt very private even though we were relatively close to the house! The sunset by the pond was beautiful would recommend!

Decided to take our van out for the first time on a lil overnighter trip at the peaceful pond and we did not regret it! Communication and hospitality between the host was fabulous. Was a beautiful peace of land full of tranquility. Definitely recommend!

Tim was an absolute legend, made us feel right at home. Gave us eggs for the morning and showed us around the pond. There’s kayaks, bikes, even a skate ramp. If you want a perfect tranquil pond getaway in the middle of the bush this is where to go.

Such a beautiful spot to set up for the night. Tim is a very welcoming host. The pond is idyllic surrounded by eucalyptus trees, with ducks and other native birds calling it home. At sunset kangaroos were munching on the grass just by my tent and a symphony of kookaburras put on a show. I didn’t use the fire pit but there was a lovely space set up for guests to enjoy. Would definitely stay again!

My wife and I loooooooved Peacfeful Pond. We stayed in the Side Paddock with a Bush View and it was magic.
Tim and Vicky made us very welcome with fresh eggs, firewood, bikes, canoes for the pond and helpful advice. They also respected our privacy.
We're were treated to a spectacular thunderstorm and lightening display (no rain), a sky full of stars, a full moon, a family of ducks on the pond, a family of kangaroos watching me have my morning cup of tea and a beautiful sunset over the pond. And, most importantly, a truck load of serenity.
Nelson Bay, Tea Gardens, Hawks Nest, Jimmy's Beach ( you HAVE to swim there) and much more are a short drive away.
Everything about our stay we loved.

Without a doubt a great place ! Hosts were so kind and welcoming ; even gave me a couple of fresh farm eggs . Nothing was an issue and the place had a great feel and so much things to do if that’s your thing . Swim in the pond kayak etc cute little bridge and island . I chose to do none but instead relaxed whilst the other two people who were there enjoy a swim and the beautiful lake . By far the best place I pulled up too so far.

We had such a wonderful overnight stay here. We were warmly welcomed with beautiful fresh eggs a quick run down and offered to use any items on site.
The kids absolutely loved it and used the kayaks in the pond all afternoon and evening.
Close to the house but felt absolutely private. Would absolutely return.

Greeted by Vick & Tim, by showing me around their beautiful property. I arrived in a heat wave, however found a beautiful shady spot next to the dam to sit back and relax. The kayak was great to get out on & cool down in the water.
Beautiful camp spot too & very welcoming hosts. Highly recommend

Lovely people, such a quiet spot away from the house, but a short walk up to the house. We were greeted by Vicky saying hi and Tim delivering firewood and fresh eggs from their chooks. We swam in the lagoon /dam, the tree house was nice and there were boogie boards, kayaks and push-bike you could use. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night. Tim and Vicky are lovely hosts who are friendly and up for a chat or will leave you to your own devices.

The location was so pretty! The lake was lovely and the area was really well maintained. We stayed at the gate site which was very private and the provision of bikes body boards and kayaks is a really nice touch. Greeted when we arrived and Tim was super welcoming!

Exceptionally lovely hosts on a beautifully landscaped property. We were gifted firewood and eggs to cook for breakfast on arrival, and spent the evening by the pond with a beer throwing the stick for the dog. Would recommend to anyone.
