Palm Cove follows the natural curves of the Murrumbidgee River for 1.6km and is located 20km North West of Wagga Wagga on the Old Narrandera Road. Set up for the aquatic enthusiasts, Plam Cove has a concrete ramp and has fantastic access for almost all of the 1.6km of river frontage. So you can bring a boat or pop a line in from the river bank with ease. BYO kayaks or you are welcome to use the 2 that are here. You can take a stroll along the river bank if you like bush walking or just relax around the Gazebo area where the manicured park-like grounds lead to a little sandy beach. With beautiful views up and down the river, this is one of the Riverina's best river properties which we would love to share with Hip Campers.

This site is a short drive to a concrete boat ramp or you can choose any spot along 1.5kms of river frontage if river bank fishing is preferred. We have 2 kayaks to share among guests and some great sandy beaches for swimming. We have 1 toilet available to all guests if required BUT fully self contained RV's and caravans are preferred. There is no hookups at this site but there is potable water available. Our sites are 20kms from the nearest dumping station and the CBD of Wagga Wagga. The closest grocery store is approx 18kms to Foodworks Estella where you will also find Stellar Star Food & Espresso Bar which has many fantastic options for Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner, dine in or takeaway, open 7am to 9pm daily.

This site is probably best for adults and older children as it has the steepest access to the river. Not so suitable for small children. WOW. What an amazing place to relax. Has everything you would want. Quiet, private, right on the river bank, large grassed flat camping area and the best hosts. Will be back real soon.

10/10! Perfect location. Best of both worlds being so close to Wagga Wagga! Ideal spot for kids, no worries about them riding or running around. Nadine and Troy are unreal and generous, even took us for a drive and look around on there boat 👍

I don't think we could have found a better spot to spend 2 nights. The river gums are huge and the lawns under them are beautifully maintained. CSU and Estella shops are a short drive.

It was our first time doing an off grid stay in our caravan and it was the perfect spot to do so! We were lucky enough to have a massive space to ourselves, which was well taken care of. Our two kids had a blast as well. Would definitely come back again!!

Camping at palm cove on the murrumbidgee was beautiful. We cooked camp ovens on the fire and paddled kayaks and paddleboards on the river. We watched the sunset and enjoyed the spring days sun watching birds during the day and possums at night. Nandine and her husband were lovely and checked we had everything we needed and were comfortable. Would definitely stay again. We were 2 families with kids aged 4-10. Note *This spot wouldn't be ideal if your kids can't swim or don't have any river sense as keeping them away from the river would be very hard.

We had the most wonderful stay at River Frontage Campsite 2! The location right on the Murrumbidgee was absolutely stunning – waking up to the river views each morning was so peaceful and relaxing. The site was spacious and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect spot to unwind and enjoy nature. Our host, Nadine, was fantastic – so friendly, welcoming, and helpful, with great communication leading up to and during our stay. You can really tell how much care has gone into making this campsite such a special place. We loved being able to fish, and relax by the water, and the easy access made it super convenient. It’s a perfect getaway whether you’re after adventure or just some quiet time in nature. We’ll definitely be back – highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for a riverside escape!

Nicest hosts, beautiful spot. We have returned to Palm Cove, for a short getaway. The serenity is second to none. The spots are well managed and plenty of fire wood was made available by Troy. Lovely, beautiful and relaxing.

Wonderful place to stay, and lovely hosts made this stay a memorable one. I booked same day I was due to arrive, and Nadine was excellent to deal with, very friendly and accommodating. I will definitely be returning here with my family soon.

Stayed for a couple of nights in a roof top tent. Great spot on the river with nice grassy and spacious drive in sites (even fro bigger rigs). The hosts were lovely. Easy to get to. Would definitely recommend.

NEW LOCATION, NEW FREINDS This was our first trip to Palm Cove, and we just loved it. Between the super secluded location of our camp, right on the river. Or, the super friendly hosts and an invite to a "camp oven social". This is our new favourite Hipcamp. Nadine and Troy went out of their way to make us comfortable. Troy cut us a huge lot of firewood, so grateful. Nadine came and personally invited us to get to know everyone staying with drinks around the fire pit. Husband even caught a couple of Cod. We can't wait for our next visit

Palm Cove was absolutely wonderful, the gazebo setup next to the river was beautiful and clean the grass around was lush and green and could be mistaken for a golf course! The toilet was clean and flushable, no long drop! Nadine was very welcoming and accommodating, going above and beyond what is expected. Oh and the views! They have found their piece of paradise and I'm grateful they have chosen to share it with all of us. Thanks Nadine for allowing us to have such a great time.

Great spot just outside of Wagga by the river. Easy to get too, was greeted on arrive and shown camp. Made use of the kayaks in the river and had a drink around the common area on the lovely green grass. Thanks for hosting, look forward to returning.
