What a beautiful property. Perfect for some quiet time away! We had a blast swimming in the river, chatting to the friendly cows and enjoying the offroad tracks. Ben and Grace are wonderful hosts.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Facilities were pristine and the owners are incredibly friendly and helpful. The firewood was generous and there’s a chopping block next to the stack (byo axe). There was no reception in most of the property which is a plus to me, but if you need to contact the outside world the owners have starlink for emergencys and there’s a spot on the hill above Fingers Rocks (all the way up the next hill before the fork in the road) that has amazing reception if you can make the trek. The cows are gorgeous and so curious but won’t get within 3 or 4 metres of you or any gear. Fingers rocks is a perfect spot to cool off and relax at. I’d definitely come back with a bigger group. The only things I’d change are when I went (Very hot and humid with a few good storms) and how many people I had with me. I’d recommend going on the warmer side of spring and autumn or the cooler sides of summer. Definitely bring entertainment if you’re staying for more than a few days. The 4wd tracks and river kept me and the Mrs entertained all week but if we were around longer, the lack of things to do around the area may have gotten to us. Over all a great place to spend a week and I will definitely be back.

Beautiful sites along a broad reach of the Clarence River. We were surprised to see that toilets & showers had been installed. Excellent site, we'd recommend it & would return when we have the chance.

This place is truly SPECIAL! We camped with our 13ft hybrid van and we loved it! Spectacular views, amazing wildlife, we took a couple of drives down around the river and checked out the swimming areas, beautiful! As I am new to towing and the road out is a little steep I was a bit nervous about how to tackle it correctly. I reached out to Ben and Grace and they were so lovely in waiting for us at the top of the hill to make sure the path was clear and then when we had some electrical brake issues, they were there in a flash. Ben and Grace, you're bloody legends and we look forward to returning. Thank you so much for sharing your paradise!

We went there as a family trip! 2 weeks ago. And it was fabolous! Ben and his wife came over and brought a big slide water, so cool to jump with the kids! The river was a great atraction as well. Also the camp site have a nice toilet and hot shower.
I'll recommended if you want to have a peaceful nice space where to camp.

Went over the weekend had the entire campsite all to ourselves, river was stunning and awesome to swim in. Campsite is well maintained and facilities are a plus.
Owners are just lovely.

Absolutely loved this place. The campsites were amazing and well looked after. The amenities are very clean. We were lucky enough to have be able to have a pick of the place. We enjoyed lovely views of the river . The cattle on the property weren’t phased by having visitors. The river was nice to cool off in the afternoon. Cannot wait to visit again!

Amazing area to camp with nice big open spaces and rolling hills close to the stunning river. The kids loved riding their bikes (the site also has some bikes you can borrow) and swimming in the refreshing river. We paid $15 for a large pile of firewood that the kids could not even finish in 3 days so well worth it. There were also great new clean facilities (water flushing toilets) and showers. Even our dog Foxie had a great time sniffing around and swimming in the river with us. We would definitely recommend and will come back for more visits!!

We absolutely loved our camp at On the Clarence Camping! It is such a beautiful peaceful property with great swimming and rapids to enjoy . The amenities were fresh and clean and even has a dump station! Ben and Grace were incredible hosts and their communication before and after our stay was next level going above and beyond. We will definitely be back!

Fantastic spot, plenty of space! We stayed 4 nights with 3 kids under 10, and they had a ball. We loved exploring the rapids and fishing. There was a shed full of bikes which we weren't expecting so was a bonus that kept the kids entertained when we weren't on the water! We also saw fireflies each night which was pretty awesome. The amenities-felt very luxurious!
Would definitely recommend staying.

We absolutely loved our stay! From the moment we passed through the neighbor’s land and saw the cows roaming freely—some even approaching the van as if to say hello and welcome—it felt like a special place.
The views from our camping spot were breathtaking, with a stunning overlook of the river. The grounds were well-maintained, featuring modern toilets and showers that added a touch of comfort to the rustic charm.
We also discovered a fantastic swimming spot, and happened to be there just as Ben and his crew were cooling off after a hot morning of maintenance work. It was a great moment that added to the friendly, down-to-earth atmosphere of the place.

We loved our stay here. The hosts, Ben and Grace, were very friendly and passionate about their beautiful property and making sure we had an enjoyable trip.
