Our 4 acre property is located near the small town of Nelligen which is on the beautiful Clyde River and is one of Australia's nicest rivers. We are offering one large grassy site so campers will be surrounded by open space and nature whilst also having plenty on privacy when staying on our property. Access to the Clyde River, Cafes, local pub and Boat ramp are all within walking distance. Our property is also a great place for Trail bike riders to base themselves as we have endless trails out in the mountains behind us. The hosts and their family are very friendly and love animals. On the property you will find cats, dogs, chickens and lots of kangaroos. You’re very welcome to bring your pets and we have a really nice lock-up yard and dog/cat house if you’d like to venture out without your animals for the day. A fire pit is provided so you can enjoy a campfire each evening. Please follow any fire restrictions in place during your stay. we now have a shower,toilet and laundry available short walk from both of our camping sites

Our 4 acre property that we live on in the nice old farm house is located near the small town of Nelligen so it’s in a residential area, you are NOT out in the bush But you are only a 5 minutes walk from the pub cafe and water front and you get to experience our Paediatric beautiful little town also only an 8-10 minute drive from the CBD Batemans Bay, which is on the beautiful Clyde River and is one of Australia's nicest rivers. We are offering one medium sized power site. This site is reasonably close to the nice old farm house and shed but you are still provided privacy with the option to angle your camping gear facing a stunning view overlooking grassy acreage. Access to the Clyde River, Cafes, local pub and Boat ramp are all within walking distance. Our property is also a great place for Trail bike riders to base themselves as we have endless trails out in the mountains behind us. The hosts and their family are very friendly and love animals. On the property you will find cats, dogs, chickens and lots of kangaroos. You’re very welcome to bring your pets and we have a really nice lock-up yard and dog/cat house if you’d like to venture out without your animals for the day. Rob, the property owner, warmly welcomed us, and briefly showed us his farm. The landscape is stunning. The property has a toilet and a shower, which makes all things easier when one goes camping. Misha, Rob’s dog, is very friendly. At night, you might hear noises near the tent. Don’t worry, those will be mere wallabies. The river is less than 5mins distant by car, which is a blessing during a hot summer day.

We absolutely loved camping at Nello 2. The property was beautiful and green and peaceful and the only other campsite was far enough away to still offer privacy. It was close to town and a great base to explore Batemans Bay and surrounding areas. Rob was a great host, very friendly and helpful and the kids loved patting the camp dog, Misha who would come for a belly rub and pat every afternoon. We highly recommend this camp and hope to visit again sometime.

Host was really friendly and helpful, and also provided us with free firewood. Property was lovely, well maintained and good facilities. Great location and close to Bateman's. Would recommend to anyone!

Lovely place to stay very romantic. The host rob was very helpful and genuine. Provided us with heaps of fire wood for the night and some delicious eggs. Will definitely recommend and will be back in the near future.

So first of all I want to say: ROB IS THE G.O.A.T! We booked our site and arrived quite late, Rob was super nice and helped direct us to our campsite. The site itself was super nice and we were able to get a good nights sleep. The property is not far away shops and in just an absolutely prime spot. Cannot recommend highly enough!

Nello campsite was a great spot for an overnight stop. Nice level area and available amenities. There is easy access to the main road and walk to the river at nelligen. Nice quiet camp area, Rob wasn’t there but his son was polite and helpful. I would definitely camp there again. Thanks Rob

A convenient, scenic and pleasant spot. Rob was a friendly and accommodating host, nothing was any trouble. The campsite was beautiful green grass with some amazing trees around and a short walk to the pub and river. Highly recommend!

Rob has created a beautiful little camp site set amongst the green rolling hills. We stayed for 5 days as our base to explore the Batemans Bay area. The little Nello town and pub both in walking distance were great to explore.

Wow what a great weekend away. Rob was the perfect host. Communication was great before arrival. Very helpful during our stay. Property was very well maintained. Tucked away in a scenic location but only minutes away from the Pub and great little Cafe on waterside. Lots of mountain bike tracks close by. Lucky to have the monthly markets on while there. So much history in the area. We had a great time and already planning our next stay.

Close to public (great meals), close to the river & cafe. Lucky to have the local markets on featuring proud and friendly merchants. Rob was a great host, giving us insight into nearby & not so nearby bike tracks meandering through a gorgeous bushland and farms. His property had great views from everywhere.

A fantastic few days at Rob’s spot in Nelligen. Large flat camp spot with thick green grass. Heaps of space for camping, kicking a footy and doing cartwheels. Excellent fire pit too! Rob is a thoroughly decent bloke who keeps an eye on things whilst giving campers plenty of privacy. Proximity to the pub was a plus and it was great to hear the live music from camp. Nelligen is perfectly positioned to explore river, coast or surrounding forests. Thoroughly recommended!

Nice outlook. Great location to Batemans bay. Pub at the bottom of the hill. Nice and quiet. Campfire with plenty of firewood. Rob had the fire going for us when we arrived.

Really enjoyed this one. The camp site is flat with great views and is very well located in Nelligen, only short walk to the pub or cafe. Rob was a fantastic host and make us feel very welcome on his property. Great spot for our dog to be off leash and explore the property. Will be back again for sure!

Large beautifully open green mown grassy campsite close to top of a hill. Views in all directions. A few houses are nearby but are all screened by green plantings, so feels very private. Well chosen trees are colourful in autumn or flowering and add to the picturesque landscape. Close to the pub and town but we didn’t notice any noise.

A beautiful campsite up on a grassy hill bathed in sunlight. It is also a short 5 min walk down to the local pub where we enjoyed two great evenings of live music and hearty pub food. Great spot!

Had an amazing stay over the Easter weekend! The location is perfect - close to Batemans Bay and all the surrounding attractions. The sites are spacious and well-maintained, with lush green grass that made the whole experience even more relaxing. It was the perfect getaway to escape the crowds! Rob was incredibly friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend!

Rob is an amazing host with a great place to stay. The location is close to Bateman's bay with lots of back roads to explore and activities in the area. There is a great little local pub within walking distance that had a fire and live music and a nice cafe by the river for coffee in the morning. We really enjoyed our time there and would definitely go back. Thanks so much for having us Rob.

Great little grassy campsite that overlooked the green rolling hills on a larger property. On a clear night, the stars are bright and enjoyed by the nearby firepit. The host has put a lot of work into making the spot enjoyable for any guests with shaded trees, water, electricity and a flushing toilet. The reception is a little choppy on Telstra and practically non-existent on Optus. Perfect for an off-grid weekend getaway.

Fantastic spot just above the Steampacket pub. Quiet place with great views on a well kept flat lawn. Rob was amazing, even went out of his way to rescue us when we got bogged 20mins away - top bloke and super friendly.
