Myalls Away is located close to Myall Lake and Corrigans Bay, 22 kilometres from Bulahdelah on the way to Forster with easy access off the main road. The local fuel and bottle shop is only minutes away for your supply needs. Set up camp here at Myalls Away, enjoy the quiet open paddocks and fresh air, listen and look at the abundance of bird life whilst feeling relaxed amongst the native trees that surround the property. Watch the sky come alive at night with millions of stars, enjoy the warmth of the huge firepit in the paddock, enjoy exploring this amazing area of the lakes, ocean and the coastal bush environment. Bring your kayaks and boats as Seal Rocks is only 12 kilometres away, all the other amazing beaches and cafes like Blues Beach are 20 minutes away, the local boat ramp is a 2 minute drive to access the beautiful Myall Lake. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower. There is access to drinking water, picnic table and rubbish facilities. The property is flat and open, it has paper bark trees for privacy, is has many species of birds, star gazing is a must on clear nights. The campsite is 2WD friendly and can accommodate all types of camping vehicles including caravans, motorhomes, campervans . The camping area is generally level. Nice and green with some shady spots around. The fire pits available around the site were great! The only downside was the site was next to a road, so you could hear cars drive by. However the location is good for access to beach only 15 minute drive away 👍

Perfect for a day at Seal Rocks

We stayed 2 nights on our trip down south. We werent able to get into Reflections at Seal Rocks so came across this Hipcamp instead and it was exactly what we needed. Great little spot, big open space. Reasonably flat ground and maintained yards. Flys were a bit annoying but certainly didn't dampen the stay. Would recommend.

Great camp at Myall's Away! Lovely space, quiet area, well shielded from the road. Fire pits were provided, which was great for our unexpectedly cool summer nights. Even with several other campers there each night, it never felt cramped or too crowded. Michael is super friendly, happy to have a chat, and makes himself available to help if needed, while not being intrusive. Well located from many wonderful lakes and beaches, with Seal Rocks, Smith's Lake and Sandbar only about 15-20 minutes up the road. I will definitely return to Myall's Away, it was just excellent.

Our second time staying at Myals away! 🚐 Big flat area, very spaced out between campers, had a fire drum we could use. Close drive to all the lakes, seal rocks and Forster. Best of all, Michael is a top host! Thanks for having us :)

Overall good experience. Great location to explore around. Lovely grassy and flat paddock. There must have been 5 or 6 groups and no one were on top of each other's. Plenty of room to spread. There is road noise during the day. Quieten down at night, and didn't bother us at all but we were in a caravan. Firewood to pickup and firepit provided. Couldn't find any bin, so we left with our rubbish bags.

Great spot just a short drive from beautiful Seal Rocks. Fabulous paddock. Plenty of space to spread out. The host was extremely gracious and helpful. There is also a lovely 4 legged welcoming officer on duty. Only minor negative, for those that may be concerned, it is right on The Lakes Way road and there is some road noise.

Beautiful bit of land to camp on. A perfect site if you're looking for a peaceful stay in nature without other campers on top of you. Close to Blueys Beach, Seal Rock and Myall Lakes of course which makes it easier to launch boats and Kayaks. Michael was a great host very friendly and knowledgeable. We will make this our regular spot when visiting Myall Lakes. Thanks Michael 😊

Lovely spot, Michael doesn’t fill it so there is privacy and space for each party. Close to seal rocks and blueys beach. Cute dogs on sit were very friendly. Michael was welcoming and flexible as we extended our stay. Would recommend

Myall’s Away is well located to explore the area and Michael is a great host. The property is flat, easy to access with trees providing shade and privacy. Michael provided great information and tips about the area and helped us out with a few tools when we had a little incident with our awning. During the silly season it was a calm, quiet haven to return to each afternoon.

We stayed the October long weekend, plenty of space with a variety of campers caravans /tents etc .Close to Seal Rocks and surrounding areas .Michael was a great host welcomed on arrival and the daily visit from Halo was lovely .Will stay again when in the area.

Myalls Away has the benefit of being located close to the lakes but also gorgeous Seal Rocks. The campsite is pretty flat, mown grass with some trees and works well but not brilliantly if it's at all wet - a bit boggy. Our big caravan stayed here happily for a couple of nights and there were also quite a few tent campers in place. All to ourselves on the last night where we had a great campfire and were visited again by Halo, Michael's elderly and friendly dog.

Great stop over option when heading up the coast! Super easy directions and plenty of options choosing a spot. Held up ok, even though we got hit but a lot of rain. Would come again!

Great:-) not much privacy from other campers, dependant on where you park. Water facilities but no other facilities Other campers playing loud music beyween 7-11 during our stay, but otherwise peaceful Lovely birdsong to wake to :-)
