Located just outside of Bendemeer, our property features 21 peaceful acres with frontage to the beautiful McDonald River and a nice flat shaded area for camping. This is the perfect getaway spot to relax, complete with platypus, wombats and amazing bird life, fishing for trout and yellow belly. Lots of kayaking and swimming in summer, and plenty in winter too if you're brave!). We're around 30 mins from Tamworth where you can find all the supermarkets and supply stores to meet your camping gear needs, and there's lots of great cafes and restaurants too. Power is available if required but not next to the river. Camp next to the river (4WD access only) with your tent or rooftop set up or park uphill overlooking the river with your caravan or motor home, it's only a little further away (100 metres) with power available. Campfires allowed at both locations ( fire season permitting) you will need to bring your own wood. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/ shower. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay on Wayne’s property. He was very welcoming and despite the recent flooding still accommodated us nicely. We would definitely recommend staying at Wayne’s beautiful property :)))

A stunning and beautiful spot to stop and camp. Plenty of tall gum trees, providing filtered shade across the property. Lots of open space and places to walk, with a beautiful river frontage complementing the property. Highly recommend as a great place to rest and relax. The host was very helpful and friendly.

Great spot. Our van is 7 meters so was too large to park down by the river. We were able to camp up top which was perfect. Hosts were very accomodating

Great spot, Stayed 3 nights 24,25,26 Jan 2025 , we had a nice shady site on the banks of the river, perfectly clean not even a bottle top. Well grassed for the height of summer. We live 35 klm away and this suited us perfectly to just sit and relax. Nicely mown, lots of bird life, steps cut into the river bank made access to the small sandy beach easy. As others have said there is a little road noise, but honestly we didn’t really notice it after 15 minutes. Communication with Wayne the owner was great, prompt and easy.

Wayne’s camping area by the river is quiet and restful. Trees give great shade and we enjoyed a fire. He is a friendly and helpful host. We’d be happy to return some day.

We really enjoyed our time at Muluerindie. Wayne and Jen were both fantastic. Wayne even helped us out with a mechanical issue. The river, while water level is currently low, was still a great place to walk in the morning and afternoons. The local sheep paid us a visit, and the wonderful birdlife was a joy to watch. Would happily return,

Beautiful place to pull up and camp over . Nice big area with perfect grass next to the flowing river .. we stopped over for the night halfway from dubbo to coffs .. could of stayed at a place like this for days n days 👌🏻

Great spot by the MacDonald River, Host had excellent communication. We only stayed 1 night, wish it was more. Firewood supplied which was a bonus on a really chilly night. Thanks for having us.

We loved staying at Muluerindie. It’s a beautiful spot! The hosts were kind enough to provide firewood. Nice and private. Great place to relax and unwind. We will definitely be back 😄

Nice little spot, good for a stopover when travelling north or south along the New England highway. Sites are spaced out nicely although access is a little tight in places. The only downside is the traffic noise from. The highway but it does quieten at night.

It was very well laid out. Hosts were friendly, wood supplied. We kayaked, rose bikes to Bendemeer pub, walked the river trails. Looking forward to returning

Well manicured grass for camping. 3 campsites, 2 smaller and one large that could easily fit 3 vehicles. The creek is right next to the campsite. Perfect for a cool off on a hot day. Only negative and ots a small one is that the site is close to.the road so you do get a little road noise from the trucks but to be honest it's not that bad. I'd happily go back anytime. We enjoyed our stay.

Great little spot next to the river, sites had firewood at them ready to go. River was down abit but kids had fun still, puddling and exploring. Site was well maintained also.

Awesome place right on a beautiful river. Had the place to ourselves which was an even bigger bonus. Great location between Tamworth and Armidale. Highly recommended.

Wayne’s place is a great spot on the river. Nice sandy river that was good for swimming. Wayne was helpful and informative. We managed to get our 19’6’ off-road van down to the river front and with 60m of leads we even had power. The gate to get down there is narrow but a little care and we were through no trouble. Wayne has a couple of kayaks we took for a paddle. Great little town with cafe/general store and local pub. All round top spot.

Great stay, The river is awesome and the nights quiet, due to limited sites which is great. Wayne is the best host. Very welcomed into his farm. Plenty of firewood on hand and the sunsets just complete the stay.

We enjoyed our time at Wayne’s place. Beautiful property adjacent Macdonalds creek with easy access for large rigs and grassy areas to camp close to creek. Communication with Wayne has been great and very accommodating. Thanks again Wayne. Good meeting you.

We really enjoyed our extended long weekend stay at Muluerindie. Relaxing, fishing, scenery and swimming made this Hipcamp spot memorable! Wayne the host was always helpful with information and advice. We recommend this spot for a anyone looking for a location which feels stress free yet is close by to supplies and one of the best pubs Bendemeer Hotel and a catch up with the locals at Bendemeer General Store/Cafe. You can bring your fur babies too.

What a beautiful spot and the views of the river are amazing. Easy access, Fire Wood provided. Great communication with host. We realy enjoyed our stay and plan to return in the future.

It's was a lovely place to stay, very peaceful along the MacDonald River. The area was well maintained and grass was mowed. Wayne was more that helpful sorting out a fire pit for us to use as well. Wayne and Jenny we both very welcoming

Good spot if you are travelling in that part of the world ….. grounds are lovely and river spot fantastic….. only down side is the road noise but that does away to nothing after 6 pm
