Some of our campsites/ Van sites DO NOT come with facilities. Please read your site description carefully. We have 1 powered site that is power ONLY on (OUR DAM ) site. No toilets, showers, kitchen or pool access . You need to be fully self contained. All other Eco sites have Hot Shower and flush toilets Some Campsites are in our lovely small manicured bush garden setting. It's a level, grass/lawn shaded area. There are 4x 15 amp powered sites. Suitable for small quiet groups/ families. NOT suitable for loud partying. Hot shower and toilets The state forest is a short 10min drive away for bush walking, mountain biking and 4 wheel driving. Beach is 40 min drive away. We are located close to the Central Coast and Newcastle. (In Cooranbong ) Some of our camp sites have access to three eco toilets and only one shared shower, rubbish facilities and drinking water. (Campfires) we have 5 fire pits on some of our sites , fires are permitted during the winter months. We also have 2 x 4 star cabins which sleep 15 between them, they are listed separately on Hipcamp. However the guests from both the camp sites and the cabins have shared access to the pool and facilities. Which includes a large under cover patio area. FRIENDLY PETS welcome. On certain camp sites ourSmall kitchen with microwave dishwasher and cook top and fridge may be used . Please just clean up any mess you make. For the next guest All cleaning products under sink. WE HAVE 2 DOGS that are people friendly., who love to meet new fury friends , they do have the run of our property . As our property has a lot of maintenance lawns /gardens ; we may use mowers blowers etc , we will possibly maintain between 10 am to 2 pm If needed. WE HAVE A LOT OF WALLABIES RUNNING AROUND PLEASE DRIVE TO 5 KILOMETRES

This is JUST A CAMP SITE with NO access to facilities. No shower .No power WE HAVE (1) BUSH DROP TOILET. ie Hole in ground in a tin Hut ,toilet paper provided and hand sanitiser You must be self sufficient . The cabin in the picture is Occupied. It’s not available . The camping site is in the vicinity of the little cabin closest to the Dam Mistinthegumtress Eco is at the foot of the Watagan mountains, close to the Watagan 4WD tracks, picnic areas, and bike tracks. Also close to Lake Macquarie where you will find fishing, boating, kayaking, canoeing, etc. About a 20 - 40 min drive to beautiful beaches. If you have a kayak/canoe you are most welcome to use our dam, as it's a bush waterway dam life jackets must be worn. Swimming is not advised as in summer snakes may cruise past you... On this site we have an UNFENCED DAM and waterways around this area, IF you are camping with YOUNG CHILDREN please consider carefully and let me know before booking. THERE ARE NO FACILITIES HERE, ON THIS CAMPING SITE campers will need to BYO and leave NO TRACE We are currently only set up to cater for self-contained campers or vans etc on this site on our property, so you need to bring your own camping cooking and drinking water. We do have other facilities in our Eco main area to offer 16 amp power/water but not at this price and property area. Please bring what you need and take with you what you bring. The area is mostly level land. Your furry family members are welcome to join you. WE HAVE 2 DOGS that are people friendly, and love to meet new fury friends, they do have the run of our property. Our little tiny cabin is currently rented. Only 13 min from the M1 Pacific Mwy and 10 mins to Cooranbong shops Bottlo Takeaway, 16mins into Morisset.From Sydney, 1.5hr from the CBD. Also you have the use of our shower and toilets it is in the next paddock in our ecotourism development proximately 70 m to the toilet. You also have the use of the pool . Our dam site is nestled next to our picturesque dam, with plenty of 15amp power outlets and fresh tank water taps to go around. And don't worry about feeling crammed in - there's enough space here to drive your van both on AND off this location (we know, we were surprised too). Plus, take in that view from across the dam at our teeny tiny cabin while gathered 'round the fire pit. We even have plenty of sticks scattered throughout so no need to bring your own kindling. A Nice Private tranquil spot. Carol is a fantastic host. The land is immaculate, the facilities extremely well maintained. As we were leaving she brought a baby joey over for the kids to see. Don’t hesitate on this one. A short 1 hour and 45 minute drive for us from the northern beaches. You won’t be disappointed 👍 We camped but very tempted to try a cabin next time as they look great

Our stay at this campsite was truly special. Carol was the perfect host – welcoming, responsive, and there to greet us on arrival with a personal tour of the site. The location by the dam is wonderfully peaceful, with abundant birdlife that made for a relaxing atmosphere. The real highlight was the unexpected bonus of the wallaby sanctuary. Being able to witness morning feeding time with Carol and Dee, seeing the orphaned joeys being cared for, was a privilege and something we won’t forget. The dedication and love these two put into caring for these little creatures is remarkable and inspiring. This is more than just a campsite – it’s a place where conservation and hospitality come together beautifully. I hope more people discover and support this special place. Highly recommended!

What an amazing last night in our motor home , we arrived at Carol and Dees immediately saw wonderful little wallabies jumping around, the surrounding was magnificent, they work extremely hard caring for the wallabies and the site . We couldn’t recommend it enough if you want a peaceful, magical stay .

Total luxury whether camping, caravanning or in a cabin. Must experience this relaxing, rejuvenating, and inspiring place. Best caravan site in over 4 years of our travels. Beautiful gardens, inviting pool, modern clean amenities, quirky and attention to detail. Not far to beaches, Hunter Valley, national parks and walking trails. Dee and Carol are wonderful, friendly and generous hosts, thank you for creating this wonderful oasis for everyone to enjoy. Don’t get me started on the Joeys…..they are rescued by Dee and Carol and it’s a privilege to be able to feed them their bottles and see them on the grounds rehabilitated. Don’t miss the opportunity to stay here-we will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

Gorgeous little site with a dam under the trees. Navigation was simple and Carol greeted us on arrival. Very few mosquito's. Lots of adorable wallabies recovering across the dam.

We had such a great stay! The campsite was spotless and very well maintained — everything was clean and tidy. We absolutely loved feeding the wallabies, such a special experience! 🦘 Carol and Dee were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay, always making sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend this place.

What an amazing place!! We spent 2 absolutely blissful nights here. Carol and Dee were fantastic and so accommodating! Getting to spend a feeding time with the rescued wallabies was something special. They do some inspiring and tireless work in this place. Highly recommend to all and it's only just off the M1 highway. Beautiful camping areas amongst the huge gum trees, nice flat land for camping and activities.

Carol was a great host! Very helpful and accomodating. The site was very well maintained and cared for. Nicely spaced out and not too many sites. Shaded under trees and flat with nice big fire pits. Cool to see the wallaby rescue they have on the property. Drop toilet was very convenient. Location was great, to explore new castle or the central coast. We will be back!

What a cool property! And Carole was a fantastic host. She immediately got a fire going for us when we arrived and made us feel very welcome. The baby kangaroos were super cute and Carole let us feed them which was incredible. Would definitely come back!

What an amazing spot! 10/10. In the middle of nature, great amenities and a lovely host. Very close the shops as well. We were with 6 adults a 4 young kids and it was perfect for our group. We loved our camping trip and will soon book to come back

ECO SITE #3 ( BACK)
We just spent our weekend here and it was a wonderful experience. The pitches were well-spaced which made setting up our tent easy. The facilities, including the showers and toilets, were impeccably clean and frequently maintained throughout our stay. There is also swimming pool great for the kids and adults. The staff were incredibly friendly.The location is perfect—close enough to town for supplies but far enough to enjoy a truly quiet, starry night. We will definitely be back next year!"

Really enjoyed out stay here. Great hosts Carol and Dee. Quiet area to ourselves. Nice to experience nature and refresh before the year ends. Great to see wallabies in their natural environment Highly recommend to anyone looking at camping or staying in cabins near Cooranbong. Definitely will come again if chance arises.
