Update: access road is now sealed. Melon Green welcomes self contained caravans and /or motorhomes. Lovely grassy farm on a 15 acre block. A quick 15 minute drive into Picton where you can find our local club and shops. Short drive to Nattai lookout overlooking Warragamba water catchment. Spectacular view. Also Thirlmere Lakes. Nearby Camden township restaurants, cafes, pool, bike track along Nepean River and more. We are located approximately 1 hour from Sydney airport so a day in the city is not out of the question. Shopping malls a short distance away. We have 4 horses, two dams, nice outlook, Clean tank water is available and picnic table can be provided. Please note we can no longer offer bathroom facilities. As we have horses, dogs must be on a leash. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit.Melon Green welcomes self contained motorhomes and/or caravans. Up to 4 people, including children. Dogs are welcome but may need to be on a leash due to livestock. Lovely grassy farm on a 15 acre block. 5 minute drive to Oakdale Workers club which has a nice menu. The site is big and can accommodate two vehicles, 4 guests for $48.00 per night. Pets welcome.

Great location with privacy even though owners house nearby and that was only as it was too wet to drive to near the dam. Quiet with beautiful views with flat ground. Would recommend

Great spot that isn't a million miles fr9m Sydney, yet it is far enough away to make you forget the stresses of the week. Lyndall was a lovely host, site was neat and tidy and firewood was a major bonus. Suitable if your set up / rig is large. Mobile reception is sketchy but it does exist.

Peace and quiet close to the city

What a wonderfully quiet and relaxing part of NSW. So close to the city yet you wouldn’t know it by the peace and quiet of Lyndall’s property. Whilst we experienced an unusually windy night, we still enjoyed the relaxing stay. Lyndall was most welcoming on our arrival and we’d certainly recommend the place.

Lovely and peaceful place to set up our van. So close to Sydney but felt like a million miles away! Campfires by a little dam made for a relaxing and enjoyable weekend.

Perfect weekend escape, only an hour from Sydney. The property was lovely and Lyndall was a great host. We had the opportunity for a campfire and there was a firepit available onsite and Lyndall even provided us with firewood when we couldn't get any nearby. It was a very relaxing getaway and I wouldn't hesitate to go back. Thanks Lyndall for hosting us.

Lovely quiet place to stay. We loved seeing the horses and the beautiful sunsets. Lyndall was a great host and it’s a great place to stay if you’re in the area.

I had such a great time at this campsite! It’s clean, peaceful, and just the right distance away from the city to feel like a true getaway. Being not too far from Sydney made the drive easy and stress-free, which is perfect for a quick weekend escape. The nearby town and village made grabbing groceries convenient without losing the peaceful vibe. During my stay, I could really unwind and forget the stress of city life. Lyndall was super friendly and welcoming host, which made the experience even better. One thing to note, though, is the entrance lane – it’s a bit rough, which made the drive in a little challenging. But overall, if you’re looking for a relaxing, quiet place to recharge, I highly recommend this spot!

The property isn’t too big but the location worked for us being only an hour from Sydney. The toilets were great, clean and comfortable. Thanks for a great stay!

Lindall was a great host, I absolutely recommend this place, lots of vegetation, fresh air, very friendly horses, chickens, starry sky, my little son was so happy and I enjoyed this place. where he also met and shared marshmallow with a little girl from the same place. we will surely return. Thank

Really nice facilities and hot shower when we were there. We made it up in a 2WD toyota hiace, but it hadn't rained for a few days before we went.

Lyndall is lovely and very hospitable. The land is flat and far from most dwellings so it was nice and private, quiet, and we were lucky enough to have great weather. Lyndall even cleaned the bathroom for us again halfway through our stay, which was unexpected but a nice touch.

We had a fantastic stay on Lyndall's property. Loved interacting with the horses and chooks and Lyndall was a fantastic host. I'd highly recommend Melon Green if you're looking for an easy camping experience.

Lindell was an amazing host and the site was fantastic. Unfortunately the 1 km drive from the main road to the site was absolutely appalling. It seems that the recent weather had significantly affected the surface of the road which made our journey in a front wheel drive motorhome horrendous. We seriously doubted that we would infact make it to the property. We advise anyone attempting this drive to reconsider unless you have a 4 wheel drive /off road vehicle.

Lyndell was a lovely host, with a nicely laid out property. Plenty of room to set up away from the house, with firepit provided and plenty of firewood to use. Drinking water available for a refill, nice flat ground with nice views of the property and surrounding areas. While we didn't need them - there is a full shower, toilet and washing machine for guest use aswell! Only thing to note is the last 500m of road was damaged in rain, so just required some more careful driving down to the driveway. Very friendly horses on the property to say hello to aswell! We had a great overnight stop!

What a great secluded spot on the farm. We had cows and horses metres away from Our van. Added benefit of the toilet shower and bath included. Lovely host.

Very quiet and peaceful place to relax during our overnight stay. Bathroom/ toilet was clean and well maintained. Water pressure was strong enough to enjoy warm and nice hot shower. The host, Lyndall is polite and friendly. Will definitely visit soon again.

Pros: Exemplary hosts! Beautiful location! Power and water available! Clean shower and toilet! Cons: Though not a deal breaker the last 500 meter of the access road was rough Overall: Highly recommended :-)
