Waterfront Views!

We had a great time at Manning River! Waterfront, level, grassed everything you could ask for! Well sized firepits (firewood for sale) right on the banks. Anthony was an excellent host greeting us on arrival and we even had a visit from "Basil" the camps "Customer Engagement Officer" :). We would absolutely stay here again!

Awsome Spot

Awsome spot with great views, plenty of wildlife to take in. Easy enough access to the water for fishing or swimming. Camps are evenly spaced and big enough for a couple of cars. Toilet, rubbish bin and can/bottle bin are very handy. Basil, Roger and Dolene the dogs are awsome company also! We'll definitely be back.

Was a good spot but prices way too high for what it was for one night too what the spot has to offer, when it said there were toilets I was expecting a little more then a portable toilet with zero paper. Other then that sights were very good size great veiw and had fun.

Overall we had a great experience. We were the only ones booked in for the weekend so it was very private. I feel if all the sites were booked they would be too close together. There is one port a loo and tank water but no other facilities. The grass was a little long but this could have been due to recent rain. We ended up on site 1 which I think was the pick of the bunch. Lovely river views.

River Side Camping

Spacious camp sites on the river bank of the Manning, each site had a fireplace, a water tank next to a communal shelter with a table, This enabled us to have fresh water for a nightly shower and general use , there was a rough boat ramp next to the property where we launched our tinnie, a 4WD is recommended for this. The waterfront wasn’t for swimming as the sand turned into mud after about 3 metres out, But was good enough to leave the boat in the water and tie it up to a tree for the 3 days. Few crabs and fish around which was a bonus, Coopernook Pub on the river was a 20 minute trip in the boat for lunch and a couple of beers. Every afternoon we sat under the shady trees on the river bank and soaked up the North East breeze on some pretty warm days. Location is 5 minutes off the main highway just North of Taree which would suit travellers looking to stop overnight , this camp suited our needs for a catchup with great mates,

Beautiful spot lovely for a good catch up with friends or family very relaxing and even get out own special visits from the friendly farm dog bazzle! Great fishing and even caught some mud crabs that were amazing on our little fire if you are after a quiet spot to get away definitely recommend 10/10

A lovely quiet spot on the river bank. Easy to locate with Anthony’s description and the toilet/shared spaces were well maintained, especially grateful for the nearly cut grass.

Very peaceful dogs allowed on leash and only 4 campsites makes for a very chilled stay , our dog is a reactive and her first time away so it was awesome , Anthony and his wife and son were just all beautiful people , having a portaloo and rain water made it more comfy, definitely recommend this place

A relaxing and friendly rest stop along the banks of a beautiful big river. Lovely grassy sites to stretch out on, with other campers being close by to socialise with. Bird life and fish in the river is fun to watch. Will stop again on the BNE > SYD roadtrip for a spell. Thanks!

Beautiful spot. Not over crowded as there are only 4 spaces. The only negative is take your own toilet paper as there isn't any.

What a cracker of a hip camp. Right on the river and absolutely peaceful. Anthony was a fabulous host who took the time to check in on everyone. The farms “Red Dog” named Basil was laugh with his regular visits. The sites are all flat, well maintained and with waterfront views I have no hesitation recommending this site
