Tess is very welcoming and Kentucky Family Camp has a little BnB feel to it with the little added touches in the camp kitchen. We got a beautiful sunset both nights and clear skies to view the stars. Nice flat ground with plenty of space to set up.

We love camping at this place!
The area is perfect for dogs to run and play, as it is all fenced. There are great facilities. The site is private, convenient to get to the highway and flat. The view is beautiful, with lots of farm animals. The hosts are so fantastic, welcoming and accommodating! 100% recommend!

Tess gave us a warm welcome on arrival and provided all the info we needed to set up quickly. It is the second time that we have stayed here, both times enjoying the sunsets and peaceful surroundings - a perfect stop if travelling the New England Highway.

Lovely open space to camp in with a loo and kitchen. Tess is an incredibly kind host who helped us out with the fire and gave us fresh eggs in the morning. Lots of birds and sheep around. No running water so be prepared but I definitely recommend!

I really liked the calm vibe here and setting, the hosts were great and facilities with basic kitchen and plugs to recharge your phone if needed. Thanks for the stay.

Great host couldn’t do enough for you level and mown site the westerly aspect made for a stunning sunset sitting around the fire with a couple of cold ones and it’s just around the corner from dobsons distillery which is a must

Tess was very welcoming, even with our rather late booking.
The site was level and well cared for with amazing bird song in the morning and a froggy chorus in the evening. We particularly liked the friendly chooks and nearby sheep.

Fantastic sunset from this farm site. Tess and Gary were very welcoming and the site is flat and spacious. Higher altitudes (1000m) makes for cool clear evenings. Identified 13 birds around the farm and the galahs and cockatoos put on an excellent aerial show.

Owners were welcoming on arrival and we had the place to ourselves.

Such a lovely welcome from Gary! He offered us fresh eggs, told us about the area and made sure we felt comfortable.
We made friends with the chickens and sheep, with Mic the sheep (short for Microphone because he’s loud!) being friendly and gentle with us and our 18 month old.
Lovely country views and ambience. Also, a well maintained portaloo! Thanks so much for having us, we hope to see you again!!

Lovely quiet camp. Lot a whole heap of shade but got a lovely breeze. Hosts were very hospitable. Just the basic amenities but overall very peaceful place to stay.

Location was great, easy to access and the owners are very accommodating. I would definitely recommend this for someone who is looking for a quick getaway or a longer stay.

We loved camping at Tess’ spot. There was a large grass paddock to choose from (I think she said she opens another one if it’s busy) , sheep to keep us entertained and the toilet was clean. So close to Uralla! The thing that made this spot great was Tess, could not fault her. She went above and beyond for us and to ensure we were comfortable . We were the only campers so there was no issue letting our dogs off leash for a run around.

KFC is a rustic camp facility with basic amenities. The site(s) are easy access and the hosts are very accommodating. Campfires are allowed and firewood is available for a small fee. Sunsets are spectacular when conditions are right. We spent 2 relaxing nights here.

Loved the sunset, small but peaceful, the toilet setup was really cute. The sheep's are really friendly. The host was very friendly, gave us lots of tips about what to do in the area, also provided us some wood for the spitfire, the evening was lovely.

Goats, sheep and hosts are super friendly and sunsets are lovely, location is close to the highway with easy access. The site is a paddock next to the road and residents. The toilet is flush with enough spider webs to think Halloween but maybe sprayed before because the spider was dead. Be a good idea to throw out everything in the kitchen area as it really just needs to be a clean bench if anything to use if it’s bad weather.

Absolutely beautiful spot. Was lovely last night to spend our travel. Hosts were warm and welcoming. Goats and sheep are fun and curious ! Felt safe the entire time. Had reception. Directions were easy.

I loved camping at KFC!! Me and my partner stayed the night and received a warm welcome. Facilities were great, and the family has clearly put a lot of effort into making the site feel as welcoming as they can. The real highlight was the amazing scenery and sunset, along with the friendly goats too. I will definitely be coming back soon.

Absolutely loved it here. The hosts were so friendly, helpful and generous in giving tips about the local area - yes the Scones were excellent! Lovely location and loved patting the sheep and friendly goats by the fence. The facilities are constantly being improved - will definitely be coming back.
