The camp is in a well grassed paddock with a view of the lovely dam. Firewood and a fire pit was provided and it was great to have our furry friend off leash. The site has a slight hill but easy enough to level up a caravan.
The site is located close to Oberon.
Mathew is a terrific host and we look forward to visiting again soon.

We really enjoyed camping on Mathew’s land. We had the whole place to ourselves, which made it feel private and peaceful. The views over the dam were beautiful, especially at sunset. While the site is fairly close to the main road, there wasn’t much traffic at night so it stayed quiet. Mathew was a helpful and communicative host, and even left us some firewood for our fire. There are no amenities on-site, but overall it was a great experience.

We were only here for two nights. It has a lovely view overlooking into the host’s garden, a dam with some sheeps and dogs.. We were on a separate fenced area from the main property, allowing us our own privacy. Mathew was friendly and he provided us with some free firewood for our stay. He met us when we arrived and said goodbye when we were leaving. The fire pit was great for the evening as it was cold. It also snowed yesterday morning before we left..
The only thing for us was we have a 22 foot caravan, and it was not as easy for us to level the caravan on a slope. The site is on a slight downhill slope. So if you have a smaller caravan, or camper trailer, or even tenting, you may be alright. You need to be self contained to stay here. No toilets, no water, no power. So no problem for off road caravans.

This is our second stay at Just Up Here and we clearly love it! Mathew is an excellent host and the supplied firewood came in very handy once that sun dipped past the horizon. We had a great time fishing in the private dam and caught some good numbers (and size) Redfin and even a few golden perch.

Matt was an incredible host. Came and introduced himself with a very generous load of firewood on a cold day. This place is close to town and sites such as Mayfield Gardens which is worth seeing. It’s off grid so you need your own amenities but a great place to relax around the fire overlooking the dam.
It was a great couple of nights. The price is spot on and you can have a small group included. Dogs off leash as it’s only one site to yourself. Bit of minor levelling to get the best position but very easy. Recommend Matt’s place 👍😁

It was perfect ! Our doggo loved the stay as did the whole fam ! Plus kids were even more happy having reception 😂🤦🏼♀️
The kids enjoyed having free rein of the property the sheep were a pleasant sight and the property was easy to find, flat enough ground that my husband lowered and modified Subaru had minimal scraping🫣 my Ute had no issue and we had a great time !!

Excellent peaceful place with the town not too far. I enjoyed my 3 night stay with my two dogs.
Mathew supplied enough firewoods to cover all nights.

If you’re looking for a peaceful place to pitch your tent, this is it. An absolutely stunning spot and it was all mine for the night. Matthew was a fantastic host, very quick to respond to my booking/message and was very kind to bring me some fire wood for the fire pit. I will definitely be back soon.

Matt's property 'Just Up Here' is perfect for a visit to the beautiful Oberon region. We stayed two nights and camped in tents. Matt left us ample firewood (but we always bring some of our own to add to the fire).
The highlight was having the property all to ourselves for the weekend and a safe space for the kids to run around, roam and make friends.
I was stoked to catch my first yellowbelly in the larger dam - two actually at 35cm. My son also caught his PB redfin at 40cm and we weren't seriously fishing either - just put out some lines late one afternoon.
Definitely will be back to 'Just Up Here' for a peaceful, stress-free getaway. Might even bring the dogs next time as it's fenced with plenty of room to roam.

Very comfortable place. You can see the road from the campsite but hardly noticed the traffic. Mathew was a good host. There was some firewood around and Mathew offered to get some more for us.

This is a wonderful spot to relax and easy to get to. Relatively flat ground which made it easy to set up the camper trailer. The dogs loved running around, fire pit is huge and having the bins onsite was a great bonus.

We had a lovely time here- private camp site, gorgeous outlook - or dog loved the dam and we did some catch and release fishing. Owner generously supplies firewood. Thank you so much, we can't wait to come back.

Great location. Easy to follow GPS. Block is slightly sloping so need a levelling kit. Sculpted fire pit and supplied firewood is amazing. Only downside was the wind direction which carried the rumble of the Borg timber mill which operated 24/7. Not enough to disturb your sleep but you know it’s there. Matt was very communicative and helpful. Liked listening to the birds and watching the kangaroos in the neighbouring properties. Had a fish in the dam and caught a little Redfin.

Mathew was very prompt with communication and even shared some recommendations which was very nice. The place was nice and clean with plenty of firewood to use and bin close by to dispose all the rubbish. Will definitely need to camp in the near future again

Beautiful spot to stay with easy access to Oberon, only a 15 minute drive to the stunning botanical gardens. Had a lovely, quiet stay. Host was friendly and welcoming. Would definitely come back.

Such a lovely setting, the view of the dam and beautifully mowed lawns quite picturesque. I even took a dip to cool off, wonderful! Lots of bird life. Hosts were friendly and had even supplied wood which I thought was a nice touch. Would highly recommend for a peaceful nights stay. I liked it so much I extended to two nights. Many thanks
