"Jindalee" is located on a 500 acre property, 26kms east of Glen Innes. Being situated only 2kms off the Gwydir Highway, access is very easy. We have moved our camping area to a new position on “Jindalee”. This area is in a sheltered glade with views out to the north. There is a clean pit toilet with hand washing water. - bring your own drinking water. It is a large open space suitable for even the biggest rig. We have camp fire areas and offer a supply of wood, more wood can be purchased off Bob the caretaker. We are 40kms from Gibraltar Range National Park, pet friendly, and offer secure camping and a place to leave your pets so you can explore the area. We offer a pet minding service during the day for a small fee for those who want to visit the National parks. There is a bitumen road to the boundary and then an all-weather gravel road to the site. Our camping sites are grassy and have a lovely view. We offer campfire pits and free wood - limited amount collected beside each fire pit. More firewood can be purchased from Bob, our Caretaker.

Good spot. Plenty of space for a group or to isolate. Heaps of firewood and Bobs a good fella. Dunny door needs re-hanging.

Plenty of room, grassy and reasonably flat. Directs were accurate, easy to find. Easy access in and out of the property to explore the area. Not far to Glen Innes. Bob was an amazing host. Plenty of firewood for the cool nights. Well worth a visit.

We loved our time here, so peaceful. Bob the caretaker is awesome. Told us what we needed to know & left us in peace but was good for a chat if that's what you felt like. Wildlife everywhere, stars forever & a good supply of wood for a camp fire. If we are up that way again will be staying here again

We spent a lovely night at Jindalee. The property was lovely, the camp site was great, directions were straightforward and we had a fantastic sleep. We would definitely like to stay again in the future.

We loved the grassy campsites and there was no noise. We camped amongst cows, wallabies and an echidna which the grandies loved

A lovely quiet and private spot. Bob was very welcoming and I appreciated the fire he had laid out. His beautiful companion Willow was a bonus. I offered to take her on a road trip and drop her back on my way home but Bob wouldn’t be in it.

A nice roomy, clear area over looking more land and hills, plenty of trees and wildlife. Nice dam for dogs to swim, fire pit for cool weather, good access, my van isn't off road and it had no trouble getting in. Easy to find and helpful owner and caretaker.

Great property and huge camping area. There is a slight slope on the camping area, but the van levelled up just fine. It really is big enough for the biggest rig (as it says in the listing). Generous amount of wood supplied for the large fire pit. We had cows come up to our caravan and check us out, along with a calf that was born during our stay. Bob the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. Would happily stay there again.

We felt privileged to be the last campers at this lovely campsite next to the upper reaches of a major river complete with platypus! We wish the owners well in their new air BNB venture and look forward to returning when their new campsite is ready for adventurers!

Beautiful, peaceful spot. Bob is a gem - he helped us set up some of our new camper that we had never used before - he really went above and beyond - he's friendly and helpful and his dog is a treasure. We would love to go back someday.

Tranquil spot with easy access and by the creek. Bob made extra effort to check in with us to see if we needed anything, which was very nice of him. Would definitely Reccomend this camp to others.

This spot was incredible! The caretaker Bob was so inviting and friendly, especially his companion pup - she’s a total sweetheart. The location was so nice with plenty of room and a little creek nearby. The spot was quiet with little to no road noise and with no other campers near by, we had the place to ourselves which was really peaceful. We brought our pup with us and he was able to roam free throughout the paddock and had plenty of fun things to explore including some wallabies. It was the perfect spot to bring the pup as there was no one else around but he was still mostly fenced in. Bob brought us loads of firewood for a small fee and this certainly came in handy with the cold nights. We went in April so it was cooling down quite a bit - I’d definitely recommend som warm sleeping bags and hot water bottles as the nights were quite cold. But we had an amazing time and throughly enjoyed the break from everyday life. Thanks to Bob and Leonie for sharing this beautiful spot.

We had a wonderful overnight stay @ Jindalee. The camp site is quiet and peaceful. Bob was responsive and met us at the gate and took us down to the site. We hope to be back soon.

What a beautiful piece of earth. So peaceful, lush and relaxing. So much flora and fauna to see - deer, hares, rabbits, wallaroo, kangaroos, platypus and more. This camp is for self contained vehicles/off grid or campers. Wood supplied by Bob the amazing caretaker. There’s a drop toilet with a great view.
