Jarrah Camping Area
Nice spot, lots of wildlife.
There are some powerlines in the distance, but they’re totally unobtrusive. The site was excellent value for the money.
A previous Camper had smashed some glass on the site we wanted, which the host was upfront about. It was all sorted out.
Good super fast communication from the host too

We were not able to camp in Aaron’s camp
Site because of lack of communication. I needed to book a new camp site as we were driving to NSW because no proper response was received from the the host (I was told there was no mobile reception) I am more disappointed with HIPCAMP because there were no assistance provided. Even if I marked my email URGENT still nothing. Happy to receive my full refund with no hassle though.

Pricey for what’s on offer
We spent $74 for 4 nights. Not bad but I believe it was a bit pricey for no toilets, showers or water access. No rivers/lakes. Just bushland and a lot of bull ants. Was alright

Okay
It was okay. Nice bush area.
Directions to the gate to enter could have been better and the track down and up is quite challenging with a big caravan.
Not the owners fault, but lots of human feces and toilet paper around the camp area where we pulled up. So that was a bit yuck!

It was supposed to be located 35 minutes from Sydney city and it was one and a half hours away from Sydney city, didn’t stay there.

Great bush camp
We were in a Motorhome so we camped up top and yes it is beside a large electric tower but when you park it is behind you and the view in front is so good. We had a fabulous sunset on our first night. On this site you are close to road so little bit of road noise during day but not much and so quiet overnight, we slept so well. For those with four wheel drives the bottom sites are great too ( we did go for a wander and checked them out) Aaron has done a great job with grading the tracks and I would thoroughly recommend his place for nice relaxing bush camp, it certainly was just what we needed after Xmas Thanks Aaron for letting us share your land

Tranquil bush stay
The serenity was amazing, acres of bush to explore, relatively flat rocky area to camp. ( lower area) room for 1 -2 vehicles max. Directions and access maybe could have been better, however we requested and traveled inside an hour. So that’s probably down to me. I wouldn’t advise anything other than 4wd, however it is doable at a push.
Overall I would certainly go again. We made a stone circle fire pit, a rope swing and enjoyed a bit of mountain biking.

This was a quiet location in the Sydney area, certainly good views toward the Blue Mountains, and an easy 3km bush walk around the property.
We were disappointed that the camp site was right underneath some power lines, and next to the tower.

Great spot
Very nice spot for a short trip out of Sydney . Highlight were the Red Tailed cockatoos (family of 4) Will be staying there again if we have an opportunity.

We had a lovely time here. No one else around. In the bush. Simple camping.
Aaron was great to deal with.
No issues!
The drive once on site is not for sedans tho! 4wd was fine.

Absolutely beautiful spot on the outskirts of blue mountain. The views were spectacular and the sunsets were phenomenal. Aaron, the owner, was friendly and hospitable from start to finish. Would 100% recommend.

Close to home
Aaron was a great host, made sure we were happy with the site and touched base with us the next morning. We were up at the top of the valley, the wooden bench was a great surprise and the views/sunset was a highlight. The power stantion was just behind us and was a non issue, it didnt impact us at all. All in all a great weekend escape.

This was a great little spot, close enough to Sydney to travel back and forth, and far enough out to be secluded. The top camp has a great view, and the bottom one is hidden away. I had a great time!

Good camping spot a short drive out of Sydney. Surrounded by tall trees, a diverse range of flora, and birds. Clear signage helped us to find the campsite with no issues!

Basic, no frills, value for money.
Site overlooking Blue Mountains has a huge picnic table and firepit.
Close to the road but did not concern us.
Aaron went out of his way to accommodate and checked in on us to ensure that we were happy.

Jarrah Camping Area
This was our second visit to Jarrah and it did not disappoint. It’s a slice of heaven less than an hour from home! Perfect for a quick getaway.
There is a bit of early road noise, but generally, the atmosphere is serene, there are a few hiking trails so you don’t feel too indulgent spending the afternoon lounging, the stars are beautiful and the ability to have a campfire rounds out the experience. There is even reception if you need to stay connected.
Aaron is a fabulous host! He met us upon arrival and checked in occasionally to make sure everything was ok.
Highly recommended for local escape.

Great bush camp- good solar
Perfect bush camp. Secluded, flat area to set up camp. No amenities so bring your own chem toilet and water. Host Aaron is a great bloke. Can collect fallen timber with electric chainsaw for a small fee. Good sun for solar. 4wd likely needed if wet.

So close to central Sydney yet such great views of the stars! Aaron is a helpful host! Would recommend :)
In our opinion, the flattest spot for a tent is down on the sandy bit of track just below the main campsite/fire area.
