Caravan and Motorhome sites with POWER, WATER and WIFI. Pet friendly. Nestled on the gentle, rolling hills of The Snowy River Way, tucked away from the road, and only a short drive from town, it feels miles from anywhere. Our place is set amongst an abundance of beautiful, old Candlebark trees, granite boulders, native grasses and shrubs. The trees with their sculptural trunks and hollows provide homes and nests for many native birds and eagles. Our property has 500m of Mowamba River frontage where platypus and trout abound. Kangaroos, wallabies and fallow deer wander down at dusk to nibble on the grasses and sheep can be seen grazing on the hillside of a neighbouring farm Guests are able to enjoy glorious sunrises and sunsets, from an elevated, yet private position taking in the natural beauty. A perfect base for your skiing/ snowboarding, mountain biking, fishing or hiking holiday. Or just chill out and explore the serenity! The Station Resort is just down the road if you need a good value pub meal and entertainment (snow season only) or Jindabyne town is a 7km drive. ** Important. Please note we cater for CARAVANS and MOTORHOMES only. This is non-negotiable. No sub-letting is allowed. We don't allow tents, swags, sleeping pods or rooftop tents. Hideaway is a large site set amongst lovely old Candlebark trees and has a view across the valley and down to the river. This site has a water tap, power, firepit and access to Starlink wifi and is very private. There is a grassy area up behind the site also. Access via gravel road. COMPETENT REVERSING IS REQUIRED for initial positioning and set up of caravan or motorhome but is worth the effort! A perfect base for your skiing/ snowboarding, mountain-biking, fishing or hiking holiday. Please BYO firewood. Your caravan or motorhome must be self sufficient with its own toilet. The Station Resort is just down the road if you need a good value meal (snow season only) and Jindabyne town is a 7 minute drive. Caravans or motorhomes ONLY. Loved everything about this place. Quiet, great location yet still close to town, beautiful scenery, fire pit , power and water and lovely people to deal with.

What a fabulous spot to stay and with the added bonus of power and water. We enjoyed the serenity by the fire each night after a day on the mountain and will definitely be back. Thanks Justin and Sinikka.

We loved staying at Jacarry Rocks. Having power and water available was perfect and not compromising on privacy, was a huge bonus for us. The amount of wildlife on the property was amazing. We will definitely go back.

Awesome little spot for a quiet break or a good home base for the mountains, hosts are lovely and the sites are easy to get in and out from and very well setup. Had a great time coming home in the afternoon from a day in the snow and winding down around the fire. A bonus was the power, water and wifi, but the best part was the site attendant peacock coming around to check on everyone.

We absolutely loved this spot , fabulous hosts. So peaceful, perfect sunsets and sunrises , camp fire ready and waiting for you , electricity and power and so much wildlife this has to be one of my favourite places and the fact it’s not far from the ski fields is even better .

We had an amazing week at Jaccary rocks. Great location not far from town. We chose morning sun site but in actual fact we had all day sun. The wildlife was beautiful to see. Our puppy loved being on a long lead with plenty of safe ground to explore. Our welcome fire already set, ready to light at our convenience was a nice touch. We loved it so much we will definitely return. Sinikka it was lovely to meet you and look forward to our next visit.

Excellent base for skiing. Site was easily accessible with a Caravan, nice veiw, privacy good and the slab, water and power is a bonus.

We had a great week staying at Jacarry Rocks. Our site Morning Sun was beautiful, quiet, peaceful, and had lots of space. Sinikka was very friendly and so helpful with recommendations for ski hire and providing local information. Looking forward to staying again in the future.

Morning Sun
Great location to stay for snow day trips with young kids, we loved this spot and the morning sun each morning. Hosts were friendly and welcoming and lent us their toboggans to use at the snow. Fire built on arrival ready to go, having power and water hook up was great for the winter time. Would love to visit again, thank you for having us!

Stayed 6 nights @ morning sun site. Lovely spot just outside Jindabyne. Morning sunrise and beautiful sunsets. Hosts were great and very welcoming, had a fire already built and ready to go, answered any questions we had and were kind enough to lend us toboggans to use at the snow fields. Power, water and starlink all included. Lots of local wildlife and my son fell in love with the resident peacock and chickens. Will definitely be back. 10/10

We loved camping at Jacarry Rocks! Each campsite is so beautiful. There is so much wild life through the property and they have chickens and a peacock! Having a full hookup was also key as it was very cold and we could run our heater through the night to keep us all worm. Our two year old and dog also loved the property. We will certainly be back.

The perfect HipCamp, you feel a million miles away but all within a short drive to town. Power, water and internet added bonuses. Hosts even left a fire all ready to go for us. Would definitely recommend

We loved our three nights at Jacarry Rocks. It was a good base for exploring Jindabyne, Thredbo and Charlotte Pass. The site was quiet and peaceful, we saw lots of wildlife. Sinikka and Justin were very welcoming and super helpful when we had a bit of an issue with power.

We've been to plenty of HipCamps during our lap, but this one just ticked all the boxes, even though it wasn't winter there was so much to do in the camp and surrounds. Highly recommend this spot if you are considering a good base to check out Kosciuszko and all of the surrounds. Power✅ Water✅ 🔥✅ Incredible scenery✅ great location✅ Great hosts ✅ Dump point(Septic friendly✅ All that and they also have amazing cabins they are working on, thank you Sinikka and Justin, see you guys in Feb

Sinikka and Justin are great hosts and run a lovely property. Beautiful views of typical Aussie mountain bush landscape and heaps of privacy. We really enjoyed our stay and will come again!

lovely spot just out of jindabyne, nice owners, free power and water hookup which is excellent! no phone reception but the owners offer free wi-fi which we didn't use so can't comment on it's effectiveness(we used starlink), kangaroos, echidnas, and a local peacock were some of the wildlife around! nice views, stayed at "Stay a while"

We loved our stay. We spent 4 days at wait a while site. Lovley views and quiet at night. Close to Jindabyne. Saw a platypus in the river and enjoyed walking around the property. Hosts were great and would visit again.

Would highly recommend staying here. The sites are awesome, had a wonderful view and close to town and ski fields. Sinikka and Justin are have done alot of work to make the sites this great. We hope to visit again next year
