Only 2 stars. One for the pool which the kids loved, and one for the maintenance man, John. I don't dare to think about how the park would be without him. He is taking so good care of the guests. If I could, I would give John 5 stars. The campsite is a mess and the greywater hoses are on the side of the road. We had booked a site with private toilet and shower facilities. The tiles are loose, missing grout and it is dirty. In the evening there is shouting around from drunk people. We don't mind people drinking, as long as it doesn't bother others. The laundry prices are not up to date, they charge $6 per wash not $5. All in all a too expensive stay.

Overall a good experience. Our site was right next to the dump point, and was mainly concrete with no grass. They couldn't move us because they were completely booked up. Walking around there were plenty of other nicer camping spots on site. Amenities (bathrooms) are older, however kids amenities (trampoline, playground, pool) were great. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall, it is a beautiful place. Weather was iffy and my activities didn't allow me to make use of the pool. It does get a little tight if your caravanning, but I was in my car.

The facilities at Byron were well kept and spread throughout the camp so it didnt matter where you were there was a facility near you. I felt that the camo attracted a range of campers and the facilities catered for everobe. There were plenty if trees also for shade. The camp kitchens had awesome large fridges which were utilised by alot of campers and were a great meeting hub.

This is a great little park! If you have kids, the enormous inflatable jumping area and pool look really fun and everything here is well taken care of. The ensuite was one of the best I have seen, heat lights, complimentary soap, conditioner and moisturiser and an adjustable shower head! The site itself was lovely and clean and the access is really easy. I definitely recommend this park for ensuite sites!
