Station Camping out of White Cliffs
Beautiful desert landscape and sunsets to die for.
Camping area well set up with many taps accessible ( dam water)
Hot showers were great and toilet facilities looked after well by a couple of cute small brown frogs when we were there.
Close to town of white cliffs - great cafe called Red Earth Cafe in town and plenty of interesting tours for such a small place. Opal mining here.

Definitely worth a stay!
Firstly it's important to understand that your in North West NSW in the Outback... certainly a highlight was we were there for the sheep shearing, which to me is what a station stay is all about... seeing a working farm/station...and it's a good reminder that farm life isn't easy....but the property is in a good location... remote enough to witness beautiful night skies and gorgeous sunsets but close enough to White Cliffs to head to town and enjoy the pub and explore the Opal areas. The camping area has a powerbox and water at each site (though not for drinking) with very basic showers and toilet facilities...(we chose to set up our own toilet/shower set-up) instead of sharing with the Shearer's...so just be flexible and remember where you are (e.g. burrs and flies come with the territory). It was lovely meeting Honour who came out and had a good chat with us one evening and even meeting her kids at the General Store the day before showed what a lovely family they were! We certainly left with a better appreciation of the hardy souls who live and work in these remote areas of our beautiful country!

What an amazing place. Just out of white cliffs. The camp site awesome..even powered if you need. Wood for the awesome fire pit. Toliets and showers as well. Stunning property and super lovely host. Was great to have a chat. Great history folder. Would definitely stay again

Glen Hope Stn Shearer's Quarters
A great outback experience
We really enjoyed our stay at Glen Hope Station. Our hosts, Honor & Rick, were very generous with their time and we learnt a lot about living in the outback. The room and amenities are basic shearer's quarters but were adequate for our time there. A great place for bird watching, and close to the historic opal mining town, White Cliffs. We hope to visit again.

Comfortable lovely campsite
We camped at Glenhope Station for 2 nights and had a fabulous time. It felt remote but had everything we needed- great firepit with ample firewood, water tap at each site, hot showers, toilet complete with frogs! Close to Whitecliffs but felt remote and quiet. Honor and her family are very friendly, welcoming and helpful.
We will definitely stay again if returning to this area.

Was a beautiful station just 15min from Whitecliffs. The facilities were well maintained and a perfect spot for sunrises and sunsets.
We even encountered an Emu walking around the campsite in the morning which was quite fitting.

We had a great 2 nights at Glenhope Station. Good basic amenities and close to the town of White Cliffs so it was easy to pop into town and do some fossicking for opals, touring the mines and checking out the sites. Honor was great to communicate with, gave clear instructions and directions to the site. Always a friendly wave as they go by. Plenty of firewood was provided. Great stay and we would definitely visit again in the future.

Our hosts were lovely, welcoming and informative and the scenery is amazing (especially at sunset and sunrise) but I would recommend this campground for camper vans/trailers rather than tents - the ground is very spiky (with some making it through both a tarp, the tent floor and the inflatable mattress!). It's a harsh environment out there!
The facilities are shared with lots of little frogs - very cute.

Peaceful and spacious
Great spot to camp and awesome hosts, greeted by Honor and her daughter who helped with the setup. Good to explore the property and the town. Honor runs the general store in town also so is a great source of tips on what to do. The Dugout tour @ 11am with Linz and Cree is a must!

Big sky with a campfire
Honor was fantastic - always in touch and available. Facilities were as stated - hot showers, a toilet, plenty of firewood. Nice level site. Working farm. Big skies both day and night. Pleasant, quiet and better than the caravan park in town by a mile.

Glen Hope is close to White Cliffs and a great camping space. The area is not confined and we were able to spread out. We had six people and it was great to not camp on top of one another. The showers are basic but good - hot water is always good!

Spot on - facilities and location
This stay suited us down to the ground.
Private but still only 10 minutes from town
The hosts were very obliging, both on their property and advising on what to see around town.
Wonderful to talk to the property owners and get a glimpse into their day to day life.
The showers were great - hot and plenty of pressure.
The night skies out hear have to be seen to be believed.
We may never make it back to White Cliffs but can highly recommend Glen Hope to anyone, particularly those with children as there is some exploring to be down, with hosts permission.
We meet lots of people, on our travels , heading to Whitecliffs .
I hope they took our advice and looked up this property.
