Coorabell creek farmstay is 30acres of hilly country made up of a mixture of forests, gullys, creeks and horse paddocks. the main camping site is the creek flat in a large shady area with a swimming hole in the freshwater springfed creek with campfire and log seats. there is an alternative camping site for wet weather in the front stone circle paddock 50mtrs from the creek bank. this area is a grassed paddock with morning shade but full sun throughout the day. there is no mobile reception on the property but a short walk up the driveway a few hundred meters away you can get reception at the property entrance should you need to make calls or get/snd msgs.. Property is located 8mins from the Pacific highway, 10mins from Mullumbimby or 18mins from Byron bay township pubs, restaurants and surfing beaches. Approximately 20mins drive to Brunswick heads surfing beaches or Byron surfing beaches. National parks for hiking or horse riding within 20mins drive. Can accommodate 2 horses in paddocks ($10per horse per night.) and parking space for horse float should you wish to bring your horses and enjoy some trails or beach riding in the area, I can give more information on places to ride on request. other activities that can be booked at additional cost include Didgeridoo Making workshops for adults and didgeridoo painting workshops for kids. this is a full day activity for adults and a half day activity for kids doing didgeridoo painting workshops. please enquire for more info and prices. Feel free to ask me any questions and happy to share more information on the home and local sites and attractions worth visiting. The property has a very peaceful atmosphere to it with birds whistling, horses neighing, koalas grunting, possums growling and my cheeky rooster will probably start crowing at 6am ;) ☺️ looking forward to greet you.

a lovely shaded creek flat with campfire along coorabell creek. a flat grassed area for tents, swags, small caravan or camper trailers. gravel track to site for access is suitable for 2wd vehicles. site suitable for several people in small groups however i usually prefer to only book one group at a time so you can enjoy the privacy with yourselves or friends and family. multiple booking will be allowed for bluesfest period as its very busy and in high demand, there is plenty space between camp sites. some lovely walks around property and creek area, swimming hole in the spring fed clear cool creek. compost toilet provided. no power, NO PHONE RECEPTION, water from creek is good to drink. private and secluded on 30acre property surrounded by several hundred acres of forest. horses and riders welcome, paddock with shelter provided for horses. dogs allowed but must be kept out of horse paddocks. firewood can be supplied for a fee. NOTE FOR WET WEATHER... the creek flat site can get a bit boggy if we have prolonged periods of wet weather. in this case there is an alternative campsite in the front stone circle paddock about 50mtrs fromt he creek bank. this site has morning shade but is in full sun during the day. its located about 100mtrs from the creek swimming hole and creek flat site. vehicles must park about 100mtrs form the camping site when wet as the ground can get a bit soft to drive on frequently.

stone circle creek site

RV/tent site · Sleeps 6 · Vehicles under 9 m
the stone circle creek camp site is a secondary overflow site we built due to high demand. its got 2 flat areas to park or set up tent, van, camper trailer etc, a small stone fireplace on ground, and overlooks the huge stone circle we built in our horse paddock. it has a lovely outlook of the horse and cow paddocks and is situated right on the creekbank. its a sunny position with lots of morning shade to sleep in through should you wish to enjoy a lazy morning! there is lots of firewood scattered around the forest floor to collect and use free. there is a nice walk along the creek and through the rain forest patch nearby. this site is located approx 200mtrs from the coorabell creek campsite. its a better site if you wish to use solar power for your camping set up as it receives far better sunlight during the day for charging. wake up to see and hear the horses nearby and enjoy the peaceful surroundings. this site is also an ideal site if you are camping with your own horses as the paddock you can use is just 50 mtrs away from you. dogs are allowed but please keep them out of the horse paddocks for their own safety.
