A 7 acre cleared camping site with all the necessities and space you need for yourself and the family. At 900m above sea level this rural camping site is suitable for up to a maximum of four guests. We are located two hours from the centre of Sydney and a 5 minute drive from Lithgow train station. An ideal getaway from the city, on the gateway to the Central West Wine Region. The Golden Wine trail consists of the towns of Orange, Mudgee & Bathurst, all of which are known for their exquisite cold climate wines. Neighbouring a cattle farm, native pine and gum forests, you'll feel rejuvenated and at peace with the peaceful surroundings. No Toilet or Waste collection facilities however, FREE town water and electricity are included as part of your stay.Slightly sloping and partially serviced private camp site with free water and power connection as part of your daily fee. 1000m above sea level, this is a beautiful location to relax just outside of Lithgow and a stone throw from Lake Lyell. No rubbish collection or toilet facilities available. Owner lives on site but far away enough for you to have absolute privacy.

Stunning night skies if it is clear. Needed to spend some time levelling up the camper. Overall site not that flat. Power a bonus as long as you bring a long lead. Host instructions made it easy to find.

Stevan’s hilltop camp was private and serene with a great outlook of the surrounding paddocks filled with animals. Stevan provided power and water that are accessible from the camp site. As it is set on a hill levelling is expected and we found the best spot was near where the previous camp fires has been.

Such a lovely place. Is quiet, is everything you need for comfortable camping, but still close to the town. The view is great, we will be back to this place again … and the host is very responsive .. recommend it a lot

We enjoyed our stay at Steve's place. The view was amazing, and it was so peaceful! Great location to drive to many of the blue mountain walks/hikes. We would watch the cows in the neighbouring paddock of a morning and/or afternoon.

We really enjoyed staying at Steve’s place. The views were beautiful and the area was peaceful. It was nice to have the site to ourselves.
