Beautiful spot, very quiet and serene. Owners were lovely and kind, gave clear directions on how to get there and where to camp. Plenty of firewood supplied. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Tamworth Peaceful scenic camp
Great flat camp site with log seating and a generous supply of firewood. Had a great stay with beautiful sunset and lots of stars.

Our favourite spot of the week trip

Peaceful Country Camp - Tamworth
After a week on the road and a new campsite each night this one was our favourite. We had the place to ourselves and there was plenty of firewood available. Quiet, serene location within nature.
The outhouse toilet is a nice touch!
We hope to be back.

Beautiful and tranquil. Amazing views of the sunsetting over farmlands and the distant mountains. Plenty of space to camp by the dam. Susie was welcoming and ensured we had what we needed. Fire pit provided with complementary fire wood. Toilet neat and clean.

Great spot just out of Tamworth. Quiet and lots of room. Lovely hosts, super friendly and was given some beautiful fresh eggs. Thankyou Susie. If heading back this way again will definitely be back.

Susie and Earl have a simple but lovely set up.
20 mins out of town, with a quirky toilet we were completely on our own and enjoyed beautiful sunsets and sunrises.
We had an issue with our camper and Susie was very helpful
Would recommend for those looking for peace and quiet

What a peaceful place to stay with ample room to spread out and enjoy. A few cows came and visited us in the morning and there were so many species of birds around. Thanks Susie for a perfect unwind escape.

Lovely hosts Susie and Earl ! Beautiful views, fresh eggs were amazing and a lovely gesture. Plenty of space, level ground so easy for our caravan but would have liked the long grass slashed. Firewood at the communal fire pit. Great drop toilet. Great country vibe with the cows and horses. Nice and quiet and not far to the cbd. Definitely recommend and would come back if we’re in Tamworth. Thanks Susie 👌🏼👌🏼

Susie was very welcoming and helpful and the campsite was very private and peaceful. We appreciated the fresh eggs and the firewood. The toilet was very basic. The long grass and quite a few cowpats made it a bit less appealing that it would otherwise have been.

Gorgeous views, and very peaceful. Susie is so lovely, and gifted us fresh eggs that were a treat for breaky.
Wood pile, easy to get to and only 15 minutes from town. Definitely recommend.

Susie’s property was beautiful. The space was perfect for our roof top tent and pull out awning. The birds were a plenty making the place even more peaceful. Highly recommend and can’t wait to stay again.

Wonderful setting with prime sunset and sunrise. Susie was very welcoming . The access is very easy, the site is spacious. Susie invited us to discover the extensive paddock. We spent a beautiful night there with our van.

This is a great spot on the southern side of Tamworth but it only has one communal fire pit, great for a group of travellers but I think it could accodate
More fire pits . People don’t like arriving and inviting themselves to others campfires - I’m just not comfortable with that. Flat sites easy to drive into.

Such a beautiful location!
We couldn't have asked for a better spot to spend our Easter Long Weekend. The dog had a ball running around, nice and secluded. But it was such an easy little drive to Tamworth for any supplies needed. Just perfect!

What a wonderful camp! Lovely level grassy camping spot amongst the trees with a gorgeous view of the large pond and surrounding farmland! There was lots of firewood ready for us to use and the toilet facility was spotless and stocked with all the essentials! Fantastic hosts and great communication throughout!!! Thanks so much for having us….we will be back!
